The Sentry PurrScriptions Plus Flea and Tick Topical Treatment for Cats Over 5 lb. is formulated with an adulticide called Etofenprox. When applied monthly, this flea control for cats kills adult fleas, ticks, and repels mosquitoes, including the mosquito that carries West Nile virus, for up to 1 month. This flea prevention for cats also includes pyriproxyfen, an insect growth regulator that kills flea eggs and larvae for up to 3 months per application. That's five-way protection with this handy flea control! Comes in a 3 ct. package.

This product states that it kills fleas, flea eggs and larvae. I have two indoor cats that got a couple of fleas due to a lapse in my dog's Frontline treatment. I typically don't have to treat the cats at all. I bought this product to kill off what was a minor flea problem. Here it is, two weeks later and my house is infested. Everywhere the cats lay down they leave a mess of flea eggs, even though I have been combing them out. I am covered in bites. I lay down on my couch and can feel/see the fleas climbing on me. I would never buy this product again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy.

This product did nothing for our kittens who didn't have any apparent fleas, this was just a preventative measure, but the next day there were TONS of fleas alive on them? This is the second time we tried this for a new set of kittens - I wish I could have remembered this is the brand that didn't work last time either.

I used this product on two of my adult cats and it caused burns and large dandruff flakes. I had used this product before without issue. Makes me worry about quality control of the product. I will be discontinuing all further use of sentry products.
