Build your lawn with Scotts Kentucky 31 Grass Seed Mix for new lawns and overseeding. This grass seed mix contains a curated blend of seeds that offer benefits beyond what Kentucky 31 alone can provide, so you can grow a thicker, greener lawn vs other Kentucky 31 mixes (see label for details). In addition to Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue for durability and less maintenance, this mix also contains heat- and drought-tolerant (once established) Premium Tall Fescue for dense, green cover and quick-growing Annual Ryegrass. With this grass seed mix, you'll see results in as few as 5 days! The ideal time for planting this grass seed mix is during the spring or fall seasons, when the average daily soil temperature stays consistently between 60°F and 75°F, or air temperature between 65°F and 85°F. We recommend using a Scotts spreader to apply this product, following recommended settings on the label. One 40 lb. bag has a new coverage of 3,330 sq. ft. and an overseeding coverage of 10,000 sq. ft.

Beautiful grass

I purchased 2 , 40# bags this covered my entire area ( backyard) I was reseeding . I covered with 2 bags of the shredded straw (you also sell). The way the Oklahoma weather is right now it raids almost everyday so that helped on me watering it with Mother Nature providing the rain my new grass has sprouted in a week.

Promising for a high traffic lawn

I'm super excited for the progress I'm seeing with this grass seed. I have several dogs and small kids, so my lawn takes a beating. That combined with unpredictable Ohio weather, my lawn has seen better days. Our main priority is having a low maintenance, durable lawn, and this product promises just that. So far, seeds are taking densely and appear hardy. Care so far is easy - just making sure to water the lawn once a day. I am ready for a lush lawn and think this product is the key!

Relatively easy to use. Pretty good product. I would say, just be sure that you need to be aware that you have to cover the seeds.Otherwise the birds will eat them. I think a lot of people are unaware of this.And then don't know why it doesn't work properly. Package was pretty heavy and a bit difficult to navigate. But generally doable.
