Scotts EZ Seed Patch & Repair Bermudagrass is a revolutionary grass seeding product designed to fill in bare spots on your lawn. This Bermudagrass seed grows in tough conditions, including scorching heat, dry areas, high-traffic areas and on slopes. Scotts EZ Seed Patch & Repair consists of high performance grass seed, continuous release fertilizer, and super-absorbent growing mulch material. Scotts EZ Seed Patch & Repair Bermudagrass also includes a tackifier to help reduce seed wash-away and a protectant to help keep seedlings safe from harmful diseases. There are three easy steps to success: 1) prep the area by removing dead grass and loosening hard soil, 2) evenly apply EZ Seed so the area is mostly covered but bare ground is still visible, and 3) saturate with water until no more water is being absorbed and mulch turns dark brown. Plant when daytime temperatures are between 70°F and 90°F with no danger of frost. For best results, water when mulch turns light brown to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.

Packaging is good, easy to use, no smell, no reactions, good coverage...follow the steps given for the patch repair. Water 2 times is a must ..I have tried both with water and less water.. less water patches don't work...

Germination is expected to start in 6-14 days under ideal growing conditions, with full germination taking about a month. Soil temperatures must be at least 55 degrees. Water 1-2 times daily to keep seeds consistently moist until they sprout. Maintain 1-1.5 inches of water per week once the grass has germinated. Luxurious Grass

I am excited to try this out to help patch my front yard! The grass is dead where it receives shade from the tree throughout the day. I know the grass will be thick and luxurious and fill in the dead patches. Unfortunately my city has just entered into an emergency water crisis so I cannot try this yet because I will be fined for watering and we don’t get much rain. Will save for when we are able to water the lawn!

Easy to use

This is extremely easy to use. The bottle has an easy to pour spout. You just clean the space, loosen the dirt, spread and water. We've had a dry spell so I am just watching it to keep watering the area. It has been so much easier than I expected.

Great for filling in problem spots

Scott’s EZ Seed Patch and Repair for Bermuda grass is such an easy 3 in 1 mix for fixing bare spots and thinning patches in warm season lawns. The mix already has the Bermuda seed, fertilizer and mulch mixed in, so all you really have to do is prep the area, sprinkle it on and keep it watered. The seeds are surrounded by mulch and it expands when it gets wet so it keeps the seed moist and in place. It has been down for a couple of weeks now and I’m just now finally starting to see a few little green sprouts popping up. It is definitely encouraging. Not for seeding your whole yard, but a great option for fixing small problem or damaged areas. I would recommend this product, but I would advise to be patient for results.
