Q: We love this feeder, but our plexiglass is cracking and chipping because the squirrels are so crafty about pushing it up to get maximum food bandwidth. Has anyone found a place to buy a replacement?

Q: Does this have a window of any kind on the front (where you lift the lid) so it can be filled with peanuts/corn? It's hard to tell from the picture... it looks completely open.Thanks!

  • A: Yes the clear area has a plexiglass in place. You can put any type of seed or peanut blend into this feeder.

I have several Royal Wing feeders from tractor supply!!! They are all great. Over time the plexiglass has been chewed up. Can we buy replacement glass for the feeders?

Big Hole on side takes the fun out of this feeder

Why is there a big hole on the side???? The small squirrel goes thru the hole and sits inside fighting thru the clear front, there is blood inside, broken peanut shells and poop.. I wanted them to have to open the top and take a peanut out, not invade the inside. They have also started to chew on the hole if I don't keep it filled. I realize they will chew on it.. but I just don't get the big hole..

Product is not bad but when i screwed to the wood it cracked. I used a screw driver and not a drill.
