Roundup Poison Ivy Plus Tough Brush Killer RTU with Comfort Wand can be used for spot treatment to kill individual weeds around trees and shrubs and in flower gardens. However, it is a non-selective weed killer which can injure or kill all vegetation contacted including ornamental plants. When applying in a flower garden, use a sheet of cardboard or plastic to shield desirable plants from the spray. Use care when removing the shield so that wet, treated plants don't touch protected plants. You may also paint individual weeds with this product by using a brush or sponge. This can be applied in the area where bulbs are planted without harming bulbs as long as no green parts are above ground.a year agoHelpful?

Hopefully a good product

Haven’t had to use yet but I have been pleased with other Roundup products. The packaging is durable so hopefully could keep and use for a few years. Instructions are straightforward. I’m certain this will get use as I am very allergic to poison ivy.

I love that this product is rainproof, dries as fast as 30 minutes, produces visible results in hours. If you have animals please make sure the area is dry before allowing them to get near the treated area. I received this product complimentary for my honest review.

I recently used the Gallon Roundup Poison Ivy Plus Tough Brush Killer, which comes with a Comfort Wand that makes it very easy to apply. There’s no need to transfer the liquid concentrate to another sprayer, which is a huge time-saver. This product works quickly to kill poison ivy, tough brush, and various other stubborn weeds, eliminating them right down to the roots. Additionally, it becomes rainproof within just 30 minutes, and we noticed visible results in just a few hours, which is great since we’ve been experiencing a lot of rain lately. You can plant flowers or other plants 1-30 days after application (please refer to the booklet for details).
Roundup Poison Ivy Plus Tough Brush Killer with Comfort Wand can be used in residential fields and trails, around trees and shrubs, near homes, buildings, cabins, lodges, and campsites, along fences and foundations, and on vines growing up poles or mature trees, as well as in other areas where tough weeds are invading your yard.
The reusable Comfort Wand features a one-touch precision mechanism, making it easy to kill weeds without the need to bend down. We have plenty left over to use next spring or summer since it’s a concentrated formula. Our yard isn’t very large, and we don’t have woods behind our home, so the product covers up to 300 sq. ft. Given its effectiveness in eliminating poison ivy and tough brush, I believe it’s worth the investment.
Please note: Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area or touch treated plants until the spray has dried.
