Don't buy

This is rediculous. The spark/igniter will not trigger most of the time. You end up shooting butane all through the room trying to get it to lite up. The child protection thing - I just took it out because I could not pull the trigger and hold the child safety button at the same time.
Is there no such thing as QC anymore? How did this even get off the drawing board???
No, I do not recommend this product.

Torch works, over engineered safety

This torch has a 1911 style grip safety without the 1911 ergonomics and twice the spring force. It works and has a great flame but the safety needs rework. I can see myself tearing it put before long.

It does the job well

Great little torch. With a little common sense and a small screwdriver the child safety feature is easily disabled. That's the problem these days, people would rather gripe and moan about something rather than seeking a solution.

Love it . You have to squeeze the back all the way before pulling the trigger . But when you figure it out. It's a great touch fits my hand perfectly
