Q: I have brush, weeds and vines that are 4 feet tall, would it be better to cut area down, wait for new young growth & spray? Or is it best to spray while the growth is 4 feet tall?
4 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! It is much better to cut that four-foot-tall brush down first, wait a couple of weeks for six inches of tender new growth to pop up, and then spray it with RM43. Spraying fully grown brush uses too much chemical, leaves behind a massive mess of standing dead wood, and creates an umbrella effect that blocks the product from reaching the soil to activate its 12-month weed preventer. By letting the roots push up fresh young leaves, the plants will rapidly soak up the herbicide like a sponge to permanently destroy the entire root system.2 days agoHelpful?
Q: How many ounces per gallon?
6 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! The standard mixing ratio for RM43 Total Vegetation Control Concentrate is 6 ounces per gallon of water for general spot treatments. If you are performing a broadcast bare-ground application, the official Ragan & Massey label instructions direct you to mix 7.4 ounces of concentrate with the amount of water your sprayer requires to cover 1,000 square feet.5 days agoHelpful?

6 days ago- A: Thank you for your question. The standard mixing ratio for RM43 Total Vegetation Control Concentrate is 6 ounces per gallon of water for general spot treatments. Q: can RM43 be used around shrubs and trees
7 days ago- A: No, RM43 Total Vegetation Control Concentrate should not be used directly around or over the root zones of desirable shrubs and trees.6 days agoHelpful?
Q: How long do I have to wait to plant again after applying for ground clearing
10 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! You must wait a full 12 months (1 year) before planting any crops, flowers, shrubs, or trees in an area treated with RM43 Total Vegetation Control Concentrate.9 days agoHelpful?
Q: How dry does the ground need to be (i.e how long after rain) can this be applied? If it rained but too layer is dry is it ok to use?
10 days ago- A: Howdy neighbor! For the best results, you should wait 24 to 48 hours after a rain before applying RM43 Total Vegetation Control, ensuring the soil is no longer completely water-saturated. If the very top layer of the soil and the plant leaves are completely dry to the touch, it is generally okay to spray, but you must avoid applying it if the ground is muddy or waterlogged. Because RM43 relies on the soil to create a long-term weed barrier, oversaturating wet ground can cause the chemical to wash away, leading to a failed treatment or dangerous runoff that can kill nearby desirable trees and landscaping.9 days agoHelpful?
