The 3 pc. snaffle bit breaks closer to the bars for a new feel, making this an ideal change for a horse whose mouth is showing signs of losing responsiveness. Q: I installed this bit and even on the tightest setting my all leather curb strap doesn’t make contact when the bit is fully engaged. Is it suppose to use curb strap pressure?
