Tidy cats 24/7 works great! I have tried other brands, big name and store brands, and this is the best I have found. Works great on controlling the urine smell and is easy to clean. Price is great for a product that works so well.

Not the quality it used to be

I've used Tidy Cat litter 24/7 performance for years. It was always a good quality litter but for the past 6-9 months it's been terrible. Urine is just one slimy blob that I've busted several scoops on trying to scrap the mess from the bottom of the litter box. I have to believe that Tidy Cat is now being made for them by someone else, perhaps China, or they cheapened their formula to increase their profits. I've seen a lot of complaints similar to mine and thought that by now Tidy Cat would have gone back to what they sold in the past, but they haven't so I'm going to have to change brands after all these years as a satisfied customer I'm going to have to switch brands. It is my opinion that most people would not find this to be a very good clumping cat litter. I'll use what I have left to clean up oil spills in the garage.

What used to be amazing is now a garbage product

I don't care what they claim, the product has changed. I have exclusively used Tidy Cats 24/7 for the last 10 years. Recently, each bag has gotten worse. The 2 most recent bags are essentially gravel. It does not clump at all. Not to urine, not to feces and it does nothing for the ammonia smell. I will be switching companies, this is ridiculous.

Too much dust for this dust free product

Sticky, smelly litter

I don't know what you did to this, but it's awful. After only a day or two, my poor long-haired comes out of the box with used litter smell permeating her fur. It's oddly wet and sticks to her fur. I'm never buying this crap again.

If you want a cat litter that "Clumps", this one will do the trick. It will definitely clump when your cart does their #1 business. If anything, you might think it it over clumps. It has also done a great job of keep any lingering odor around.

The most tracking litter I’ve came across.

I don’t usually write reviews but this specific product has made my life so much worse I feel I need to. I have been on the hunt for a litter that doesn’t track all over my house and this one is by far the WORST. It is worse than the cheap litter. This litter is spread all over my house- no matter where I go I can’t avoid it. My bed, my window sills, my couch, my tables, E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E. It has been an absolute nightmare. I know it doesn’t specifically say no tracking, but the ones that do weren’t much better. This one tops as the worst though.

I have purchased many 23lb boxes over the years and l find the quality is not the same anymore. It is soooo dusty so it’s definitely not as advertised anymore. I can see a cloud of dust every time l notice my cat digging in it. Dusting is a full time job!!!

Usually I love tidy cats litter but this absolutely won't clump and when it does the clumps are not tight. They fall apart easily. It doesn't clump to poo either. I'm really frustrated with this product.

DO NOT USE TRACTOR SUPPLY SHIPPING OPTION

I ordered 3/three 40# boxes of Tidy Cat- cat litter.
Tractor Supply shipped the boxes right of "the shelf" with NO shipping boxes, or packing material.
All three boxes arrived damaged and leaking.
Two of the boxes I refused, as the cat litter had spilled all over the back of the FedX van.
Then I had to repeatedly call Tractor Supply to secure a credit, as the could not reship-the
Cat litter was "out of stock".
I ordered the cat litter from another pet supply company. received 3 well packed boxes,in 2 days, no leaking.

Worst new formula change ever photo is of the orig

We use to buy the pails all the time until you changed your cat litter formula. I do not recommend or will I ever purchase this product again. All you did was make it to where the product doesn’t work and you go through a pail in just 1 week due to changing litter every other day due to now it is non clumping and it does not control odors. You as a company need to change your formula back to the original formula that did work. Which is it did control odors and did clump. Oh well looks like with all the reviews and people will quit buying it you may rethink and go back to the original formula version because being greedy is not right.

Not the Litter it Was

I’ve been using Purina Tidy cats 24/7 performance clumping cat litter for probably over 20 years. I’ve tried other brands and they just couldn’t compete until now.. the last 14 bags of litter I bought I’ll have the same issue where the clump turns to clay that is impossible to get out of the litter pan! And when you do get the clump 30% of the time, the clump falls apart and mixes in with clean litter so you have to start all over a lot more often with a brand new bag of litter. It’s also become a problem that the litter sticks to my cats legs and I have to cut it out of their fur, even though they’re short. I have four cats good litter is important. Very important. I clean their litter boxes every day. So I’ve been having to use a brand new bag of litter every couple of days which is way too expensive. I’m hoping whatever change formulation they’ve made

Does not work anymore

Tidy cat 24/7 is not working at all. The litter doesn't clump so when I scoop it just falls back down and causes the whole box to have an odor. I don't know why they changed it but I'm totally disgusted. It was money thrown away. Won't purchase again

Bad for your pets

I have used your product for years don’t know what you have changed but would not buy again my cats can’t take all the dust it does not clump and don’t get me started on order control because there is none. Worse product ever. I get better results from just sand.

Product changes.

I have used your product for over 7 years for my three cats. I'm done with it. If I wanted mud I would go dig it out of my yard. The oder control is no longer 24/7 it's not even 7 ! The color is different the texture is different . I'm using more than double if what I was using 4 months ago. Your fired.

Litter is suddenly not clumping

Tidy Cats obviously changed something. We have used this litter for nearly a decade with no problems until now. The Litter is no longer clumping so we are not able to get the litter box clean.

24/7 Clumping Cat litter that will not Clump

I am very disappointed in the Tidy Cat 24/7 clumping cat litter. Just in the last 4-5 months it has stopped clumping. The urine cannot be scooped out of the litter boxes. This used to be the best litter on the market and I do not know what you changed but it is terrible. I have used this litter for the last 10 years and now I need to find something that actually does what it says it does. I also thought I would give the "new" Tidy Cats 24-7 litter that I just saw at Meijer, that is marketed as even tighter clumps a shot and it was worse than the change 6 months ago. It is a shame that this product has gone up in price and down in value and quality.

Not as good as before
a year ago
I am very disappointed in Tidy Cats clumping litter. Did Tidy Cats change the formula recently? I have used it for at least 12 years and it used to clump great! The last 3 months or so the product clumps fall apart and make it difficult to scoop up the wet litter resulting in a litter box that needs washing, scrubbing, and refilling more frequently. I have been using the 40 lb boxes as I have 4 cats. I have 4 litter boxes and scoop them daily. What gives?
