Unlabeled chicken - exploding cat

This is made with chicken, which is not labeled anywhere on the packaging or website. My cat is violently allergic to chicken. Why on earth is the type of protein not listed in the ingredients?! That’s super irresponsible. My floors, couch, cat, husband, and I are super disappointed in this product. Negative 5 stars.

Our savior!

This product is the only thing that stopped my kittens diarrhea. After trying everything except for a full lab work up for both of my cats we tried this before testing further and sure enough it completely fixed the problem. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who asked me. Also both of my cats absolutely LOVE IT! They come running at dinner time and half the time only eat the FortiFlora before getting bored with their food. We ran out and my one cat just stared at me like "Mom where's the fun spices"

When I got my kitten, she had giardia. She would not eat one single thing and lost weight down to 2 pounds. At the Cat Emergency, they tried everything to get her to eat. Last on the list was Fortiflora. She ate every last bite of what she was given. Now she’s six years old and has gone on a hunger strike. Probiotics to the rescue, again. After a few days, sprinkling it on top of new foods, she’s finally eating and her tummy is not upset.

Amazing Results after just one dose

Product stopped our cat's diarrhea after just one dose. She kind of stuck her nose up to it at first (guess she was suspicious about us putting something in her food 😂, but we won the battle of the wills and like I said her diarrhea was gone after JUST ONE DOSE. I can't say enough good things about this product. My 2 cats are 19.5 years old. One was on antibiotics and got diarrhea. My vet suggested fortiflora pro. I've heard lots of times "just sprinkle it on their food and they'll eat it."yea, yea that never happens. But suprisingly my cats love it. I actually just mix it with a little water on a dish and they run for it. Plus it took care of my cats diarrhea within 2 days and we kept her on this product for her next antibiotic. I'm not sure if my vet will want them on it continuously but it sure has helped both of my cats be more regular.

Something has changed for the worse with Fortiflor

Something has changed with this product because it always worked to control diarrhea for my cat. Now he rejects his food that has Fortiflora in it and if he eats any of it, he vomits his whole meal. I notice that when I open the packet, it smells strong. What has changed with this product? I'm going to ask my vet to recommend another probiotic.

Formula change - cat no longer eats it

As others have recently shared, something has definitely changed with this product. Been using for two years and my cat loved it so much she would try to eat the envelope if I left it in the counter. She now will not touch her food if I use it. You say the formula has not changed but something is different. Does not even smell the same. Now on the search for a new probiotic to help her eat the special food she requires. Very disappointing and frustrating.

Time for a Recall?

My cat has been taking this supplement for years and it has made a huge difference in controlling her irritable bowel issues. She always loved the taste but will not touch this latest batch (opened a new box this week and she would not eat her food until I stopped mixing in the FortiFlora). I have given this to my cat for years. It was great for encouraging her to eat more because she loved it, and it helped manage issues with runny stool from her medications. The latest boxes are not the same. It does not smell the same at all. My cat agrees. In the past, if I let her smell an open sachet, she would come right away to eat the food I sprinkled it on. Now, she turns away. I have continued mixing some in her food, but she has started having horrible runny stool. I am afraid it is causing harm rather than helping now. This was such an important tool in my toolbox for managing my baby's health. Please, please change it back.

Seems to be a new Formula - Cats now hate

As with another reviewer over the past week, I, too, have used FortiFlora for my cats for years. They’ve always loved the taste, making it very easy to treat digestive issues. I recently replenished my supply and received the product and my cats won’t touch it. Supposedly, this was not reformulated, but that seems unlikely that the formula remains unchanged in anyway.

FORTIFLORA for cats with diarrhea

One of my three cats has IBS which manifests itself as diarrhea with mucous and/or red blood. This products eliminates her symptoms in 24-48 hours. I mix a pouch with a tiny bit of water to make a concentrated broth. She does not care to have it mixed in her food but she laps this broth right up.

Cat hates new formula

I would give 5 stars if they kept the old formula. But with the change my cat refuses to eat her food if I put fortiflora on it now. It's a waste of money to buy. I have no idea if the updated formula is any good as a probiotic as my cat won't even touch the stuff.

Does FortiFlora cause resp. problems ?

A consulting vet recommended FortiFlora as a means to help our cat’s system deal with Giardia. Our cat did not cope @ all with taking liquid meds to treat this condition. FF was added to her food and she readily consumed all :) and her stools no longer a thin putty-like consistency. Now after using this product 7 days, my cat’s asthma episodes are happening nearly daily-sometimes twice a day. She is already on-
inhaler 2 times a day-a steroid each morning-and bronchodilator transdermal cream at night. I can only assume this probiotic has an ingredient she is sensitive to. I would like to hear from the doctors/vets/and scientists …. What’s your take on this ?
And yes, she is is being seen by the consulting vet tomorrow to r/o any respiratory changes.

My kitten was experiencing diarrhea from new food was suggested by the vet to use this for a few days after one packet the diarrhea stopped. So glad this product worked for my girl
