This got good reviews so I bought it for our mallard ducks who come to feed but none of them would eat it they smelled it and definitely it was a hard no for them..I put it out even for the squirrels to use it up but nobody wanted to eat it..certainly none of the ducks..waste of money. They didn't like the smell that was obvious..

The duck feed pellets are really small and crush into a powder easily. But i am not feeding them on water. The ducks come to my house every morning from a nearby lake at a park so i toss the pellets on my cement driveway.
Bottom line is the ducks do a pretty good job of eating most of the pellets but i always have to wash the left over powder off the driveway
