Purina AquaMax Sport Fish 600 Pellet Fish Food is a nutritionally complete diet for carnivorous species of fish. It is formulated for fish that feed on animal substances, such as feed-trained largemouth bass, bluegill, trout, hybrid striped bass, yellow perch and red drum. Developed by professional nutritionists and fish experts, this high-protein, nutrient-dense diet promotes healthy growth and stimulates aggressive feeding behavior. A consistent feeding program and feed-trained fish provide better results. The 9/32" extruded pellet is appropriately sized for finishing fish of many species. As a floating diet, it is easy to manage and helps prevent overfeeding. Fish meal is the #1 ingredient for high palatability. This product is a floating pellet. None of it sinks in my pond into water with no oxygen. In my pond during the summer oxygen is only found in the top three feet of water. My bass maintain the standard weight of 1.00. Some bass and bluegill have reached weights of 1.25. Without using Purina AquaMax Sport Fish Feed the weights were 0.85. The feed I have received from Tractor Supply has always been fresh. This product has a shelf life. If it sets in a store it can go bad.

Tractor supply price is way too high. I sourced it locally for more than 16 dollars less per bag. A year ago it was more competitively priced. I will not purchase again.
