Don’t buy this product

Starting off by saying my only day off for the week and it was a bad day for me I purchased this weed wacker last month and today I tried to put it together and it was a disaster couldn’t get the handle on I call my neighbor who is very good at putting things together and he was frustrated with it, I took it back to store and manager put it together and he had a hard time to after about 45 minutes, got it back home cut my grass and started it up but part with string didn’t work, didn’t turn. So I’m out of $162.15 because it’s over 30 days of purchase. Now I have to but another, it won’t be this brand for sure.

Good value - needed to supplement battery trimmer

Good power but is a little heavy - takes some time to get a good balance with the strap. Not sure of the cutter installation. It appears that there is a protective shipping cover but the instructions do not mention. I had the head spin off once??

This weed eater is exactly what I was looking for. It does the job, uses gas (as opposed to quickly draining battery). The only MINIMAL downfall is that it’s a bit heavy for a nearly 70 year old to carry around our large property. But overall, I would buy it again.

This string trimmer seems better than most of them. I upgraded from a 40V battery operated tool from a well known national company. The ProRun is twice as powerful. Electric is OK if you're cleaning the pavers in the backyard where your wife has tea with her girl friends each afternoon but if you have real work to do, like I do with an acre of weeds, bushes and grass, you need a powerful unit and this one is it!

I ordered this because I have a Prorun Backpack Blower. This is going to be a very good addition to my garage. I hate wasting time working on equipment when I need to be cutting or trimming. I assembled it started it and trimmed around the house. Nice . I would prefer the controls be a little further down the shaft but no worries.
