- A: Thanks for your question, operating pressure is determined by the components in your system such as hose size, nozzle sizes, inlet and outlet plumbing etc. Changing those components will change your operating pressure. However the shut off pressure can be adjusted by turning the 1/16th" allen head set screw on the pressure switch. Do not turn more than 3 full turn in either direction, turn clockwise to increase the shut off and turn it counter clockwise to decrease shut off pressure. These pumps are terrible. They claim to be 100% test. Then explain to me how the last 3 I have bought straight out of the box the torque screws were not tight causing bad leaking through the pump. The manager at tractor supply literally said this is their most returned item. Do yourself a favor and buy a shurflo.

Worst pump on the market

I only gave this a star because it made me. I have been through five of these pumps in two years don’t buy one without buying the warranty the company, Remco will not help you at all. I know it’s not operator error. I have had mechanics and farm guys look at it and I literally have had them burn up within an hour of replacing them. I’ve changed batteries I’ve done everything I went and bought a sure flow and have not had a problem since. This is a piece of trash

Two pumps have been on my sprayer. Last about 30 minutes. I do not recommend this pump at all.

Tractor supply and Remco battle

I bought one a couple years ago. It lasted me over a year and a half. I bought a replacement and it stopped working after three months. I’m having issues utilizing the manufacture warranty because both parties are not aligned with each other. The manufacturer is telling me to go to the store to get it replaced and the store is telling me to go through the manufacture to get it replaced. It’s quite disturbing as consumer that is left with a product that has a manufacture warranty and have no resolution or steps to start that process. I know the product has potential when it works .

I'll rate this pump a 3 because it does decent job but doesn't have the advertised pressure out put. This was an on line purchase along with a 2 year replacement warranty. The warranty was to be sent via email which 2 1/2 weeks later has yet to be seen. One thing about doing TSC on line, your purchase may not even show if you do a search on order status. Mine didn't and still doesn't to this day. Makes it difficult to back up a claim if need be. I printed my purchase invoice when it came by email and will have to go to a TSC store and straighten this warranty thing out. Just be wary.

The pump only pumps flow it doesn't create pressure, operating pressure is created by restrictions after the pump (hose size, fittings, inlet/outlet plumbing, spray gun, nozzle size, etc.). Better than expected. I use it with a rooftop cistern where I collect rain water for our gardens. The pump shoots water about fifty feet through the garden house. I have a solar panel on the garden shed roof to charge the battery.

Pumps not made very well

This is my 3rd pump. The first one pumped about 240 gallons of spray and cooked itself. The replacement one made it 60 gallons and quit pumping. I just picked up the second replacement.

Got the new pump put on filled up my 25 gallon tank and started spraying did pretty good for about 17 gallons then locked up

Great working pump. Box said 3/4 in but it's 1/2 inch fittings

Thanks for your feed back! the 3/4" is referencing size of the actual port of the pump. We apologize for the confusion.

The pump works really well and has pretty good flow for being such an inexpensive option. I also like the quick connect fittings, they make swapping pumps out very fast.
