It arrived damaged and I don’t have a vehicle to transport it back. Did our best to fix that issue on our own. Some of the holes weren’t marked for drilling

I bought this for separating chicks from the adults, which are housed in a bigger coop. The description said 12 hens can live in it, but I can't see more than 3 fitting inside. It is very good for housing new chicks, and 12 could easily fit 12 of them.

Coop falls apart if you move it.

Hard to work in coop to fix slide door that continues to come out of track. Spring pins broke. The pretty door that has a window just blows around in the wind. If you use pine chips for bedding you have to clean out the door track to close each time. Not user friendly. I had no luck getting new spring pins. I have had to make repairs all within 30 days of operation. I do like the wire panels. I don't see it user friendly in the winter. For the price I expected better.

This coop is NOT big enough for 12 chickens. Just because they put in three poorly placed roosts does not make it big enough. Very difficult to put food and water in. And the metal roof is an accident waiting to happen. If you accidentally brush against it, you could get a serious cut. So far I’ve only had scrapes. If I could return it and get my money back, I would. Had I seen one set up, I would have never bought this.

Just wish it had a pull out shelf for cleaning the coop it would be 5 stars of it had that for the price of this coop it should have one.

I will add photos later because I'm too exhausted from working with the carpenter 6 hours and just getting this coop secure enough for my chicken and her 6 babies. This is my 5th coop over the 10 years I've been caring for backyard chickens so I'm not a novice. The chicken bedding area is grand and ridiculously elaborate. But the rest of the coop supporting area is deficient. The door/gates swing back -- you have to prop them open. I'm going to buy some hooks to hold them open when I need it. The room between the bottom of the coop and the ground has a very narrow strip of wood so I have to get pavers to secure the coop because there isn't enough wood to make a frame. NONE of the pre-drilled holes were in the right place. They were all off and wonky. The one for the door slider is literally on the OTHER SIDE of the panel. Who ever designs chicken coops have NEVER had to use them. The short 'double' doors that allow you to get into the lower area to put in the water and keep it clean is so short that my dog has to stoop to get in there. There is NO WAY I can bend down that far. I will have to get on my hands and knees to crawl in and there is NO WAY TO TAKE CARE of the ramp to clean it with out crawling into the coop. Even my really cheap coops I purchased at a discount store are easier to access for cleaning. I am stunned and disappointed in Tractor Supply. They have carried better designed coops in the past -- I know because I have 2 of them. This is a shameful product. I am angry that Tractor Supply would allow such a POORLY DESIGNED product. A coop that doesn't have any options to actually work in the coop without crawling around in the "soon to come" filth. SHAME ON YOU TRACTOR SUPPLY.

This is a nice spacious coop. Our chicken have enjoyed the amount of roosting bars and space! It has nice ventilation and the coop stays cool in the heat. Would recommend and it was easy to put together.

For relatively inexpensive coop it seems a good quality. Was pretty easy to build. Seems extremely sturdy. Looks adorable in the yard. I think it’s a perfect coop for an area that doesn’t have harsh climate like California. I would recommend this sc Coop

The chicken coop looks great and is a good size for our 6 chickens. Our girls seem happy with it, and we appreciate the multiple entry points, as it makes it easy to keep it clean. It took about 4-5 hours to set up, and once built it would be difficult to move.. which is fine, just make sure you’re setting it up in the location you want to keep it.

This is such a poorly made, poor quality, small coop. Do not buy this and just build your own. I have had the coop for a little over a year and it is already falling apart. I built the coop per the provided instructions. This thing was not made to last. Things are leaking and the "treated" wood is cracking. The coop is much too small for the advertised 12 chickens. For an average sized breed, do not put more than 5 chickens in here. Also, the run is WAY too small. The roosting bars are about an inch thick. Chickens need about 3 inches minimum to roost comfortably. I am so unhappy with this thing. As a company that advertises how much they care about animals, this coop is horrible.

Easy to follow direction, was able to put it together with in 2 hrs. So cute! And seems to be very sturdy. Was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews but now very happy with my purchase!

Large enough for the 12 chickens we have. The wood doesn’t appear to be pressure treated, but the structure is pretty sturdy. Was really easy to assemble and instructions were easy to follow as well. Like the aesthetic of it too-really cute!

It’s ok for price. The first box I bought had a smashed piece in part of product likely done by a forklift. Didn’t notice until my daughter was about half way complete because smashed part was on bottom of box. So had to take back and at least TS had a replacement. So we started over with building coop and turned out good.

All the dimensions of the run are wrong and misleading. It is actually 48x 96. Talked to tractor supply manager who said call the company. Which is just a subsidiary of tractor supply extremely disappointed with product, customer support and my local tractor supply. Save your time and trouble and buy somewhere else.

I am so glad I picked this coop! It did take a few hours to put together, but for the price, the quality is surprisingly nice. The ramp is a little steep for my young Silkie Bantams, but we put some grip tape on and it solved the issue. For smaller breeds, it is absolutely perfect.

I loved this purchase but the hen boxes are terrible they do not latch great no matter what I tried raccoons still managed to open it and eat my whole flock so upsetting .

Ok. This coop is aesthetically pleasing. It’s adequate for being wood and for the price. However, the directions are absolutely horrid and absolutely do NOT MENTION YOU HAVE TO SCREW THROUGH METAL WITH NO PREDRILLED HOLES like 30 times. Which is a MASSIVE draw back. I would absolutely NOT bought this coop if I had known that beforehand. Another issue are the doors and latches that don’t meet quite the right way and although they say predator resistant, I don’t see them holding up against determined wildlife at all. The tops of the doors have locks but the bottoms are not secured at all. There are many gaps where there should not be. It’s like it COULD have been a really nice coop but whoever was designing it got fired before finishing the design and maybe the guy who gets the CEO coffee in the mornings finished the design after an all night bender.

Easy installation with 2 people. Gotta have small birds to hold 12. We purchased leghorn chickens, doing well. We added a large run for them, and installed a solar powered trap door between the large and small run to keep critters out. Happy with investment

I saw this at my local tractor supply and ordered it shortly after we had some challenges with the directions but it turned out great for my bantam flick if eight. They have plenty of room and live the space.

Sturdy, good quality. Very easy to assemble, took us about 2-3 hours.

The chicken coop is sturdy and will help with keeping our chickens protected and warm in the winter. The construction was not great and a few adjustments were made to get this put together. There were no good instructions either.

Best coop ever!! The capacity for to be comfortable is around 10. Looks gorgeous easy to use easy to put together. I saw comments about how to put the roof on, you just have to really push hard and those tapping screws will go right in the metal.

Horrible Craftsmenship! Horrible craftsmanship! About 10 shiners (nails sticking out) that they just puttied over and moved on. One nail shot through the corner where a fitted piece needed to go, and I had to chisel the putty out and move the nail. The plastic window was cracked because they over tightened the screw. I had to pay to have another piece of plexiglass cut out.The door that opens with the window in it is so misaligned that it wouldn’t shut or open I had to sand it down with an oscillating sander. All in all, I I was disappointed to say the least

Bought a Producer's Pride Bungalow, and Villa Chicken Coop. Our truck carried the Bungalow, but as the Villa weight was very heavy, paid for delivery to home, $75. Store said would send 4 men to safely move the Villa. Only one man arrived w/the Villa. He was tall and strong, but was unable to unload the Villa w/o issues. The chicken stairway was installed on the wrong end of the Villa, and the driver bent it backwards when unloading the Villa, as well as chips and splintering around the base of the coop. I wanted to buy another Villa, to put "end to end", giving the animals more space to move about, or fellowship, yet remain separate. The delivery man had limited English, and we did a lot of gesturing. However, he left w/o correcting the damage or repair. Also, one young man told me they had another Villa in stock, and he would build it, and carefully. I checked w/the store on Monday, before the scheduled Tuesday delivery. The desk person knew nothing about the second Villa. She asked if I had paid for the second Villa, and I told her "no", that I wanted to view it first. I had noticed that a new Villa was on the store lot, but it had a SOLD sign on it, and another customer's name. What are my options for some damage recovery, etc. It is very disappointing, as I wanted these shelters for my cats, not chickens, and both male and female. It is tiring, distressing, and almost hard to shop there, making someone understand what you wish to purchase, with good results. I even sought AI on "How to Proceed", and they had a lot to say, and unlimited suggestions. Pictures, names of all company authorities, etc.

I don’t think this coop is worth the price. It’s heavy, but surprisingly fragile. Right out of the box, there was already a large section of paint missing, which is unacceptable for a new product. As I unpacked it, even more paint chipped off easily, which makes me question its overall durability. On top of that, the hardware has been frustrating to work with. The pre-drilled holes don’t line up with the brackets, making assembly much harder than it should be. Some pieces simply don’t fit together properly without forcing them. Overall, I would not recommend this coop, especially at its MSRP. The quality just doesn’t match the price.

This coop is the only coop you should consider. Easy to build, sturdy and withstood a very cold WI winter keeping the chickens warm and happy. It does not comfortably suit 12 chickens. 9 max unless you wanna clean it out every day.

After doing extensive research on either building or buying our chicken coop, we decided to go with the Chicken Villa coop as we wanted 4-6 birds. We ordered it online with no issues. Picked it up and installed it a few days later. We didn’t have any damaged parts and installation was fairly simple, I think it took about 4-5 hours between me and my boyfriend. We didn't follow the instructions for some of the assembly and did have to make a pit stop at the hardware store because we did not have the right drill bit to install the screws. I ended up repainting it because I could tell some parts were not fully coated in paint, but kept the same color because I actually loved it. We put pavers down so the wood is not sitting directly on the dirt. Overall, I am super happy and excited to add chickens to it in a few weeks. Will probably be adding an extension to the run if we end up getting around 6 full size birds just because I don’t feel it would be adequate for that amount of chickens to stay in consistently.

Not the best, not the worst. We are first time chicken owners and bought this prefab coop. It’s super cute, but a few things could be addressed for functionality while cleaning it out. The wood isn’t the strongest material, so definitely need a sealant on it for our Florida weather. The roosting bars aren’t very wide to support the chickens feet, so we’ll replace those. All in all, it’s a great starter coop to hold about 4-6 chickens. Anymore than that and they’d be too crowded. Great ventilation and easy access to the nesting boxes and inside the coop! We’ll likely attach a larger walk in run to this instead of the one it comes with for ease of cleaning and access. All in all, it was a great purchase for us! My chickens seem to like it.
