Banded them by myself in squeeze chute
First off thanks to TSC for having the bander in stock locally at a better price than internet stores. I had to castrate 2 bull calves today and my pard turned up sick. 1 calf was huge for 6 weeks, the other 4 weeks. I ran the big one in the chute. Just a basic old time squeeze Tied a front leg to a side pipe. Tied a back leg and raised it up 6" of the ground. Put the band on the plier, I found that it was easiest to pull the sack thru the band and push the tool up tight. Then make sure the nuts were below the band. Push the band off the tool and its done. The little guy gave me more of a fight. He tried to sit down on my hands with the tool up in there. I had to muscle him up but I slipped the band on with no injury to me or the calf. The best part was how they seemed not to be bothered by the band. Went right out and grazed. I spent the extra for this tool versus the value plastic bander. This is a quality made tool.

Too small for my 3 month old nigerian dwarf buck. Had to order a California bander instead.

Poor quality handle clasp.
Bought today and used 7 times. The clasp that holds the handles closed when under pressure is already breaking. Unfortunately the rest looks well built but it will be very difficult to use with this piece broken.
No, I do not recommend this product.
