I purchased this coop and could not be happier. This is great to have in order to separate my Bantam chickens from the full-size ones. I particularly like the metal frame.

We have been using this coop for our 4 hens for the past few months. It was not difficult to assemble with 1-2 people. Note the doors ARE NOT PREDATOR-PROOF! The locks are very unsafe. We had to install additional spring-loaded hook and eye locks beneath each one. I find it very easy to clean the coop part especially with the sliding tray, however raking any poo from the underneath fenced area is tricky since it’s so low. My chickens seem happy in there. Looking to get automatic door for it.

This was easier that we suspected to put together. The written instructions were not the best but the pictures were clear enough and everything is pre-drilled so that gives a hint as well as to how pieces fit together. It took us about 2 hours to fully assemble. My hint: don't jump ahead. But the chicks seem to be happy in their new home. We have placed this inside another sturdier cage to protect from predators.

We found multiple small issues one rivet on one of the latches was broken paint peeling on the nest boxes. It was easy to assemble. Would not hold 6 full size chickens maybe 6 bantams.

this Perche was the best product I have made in a long time .

This is a nice coop for baby chicks. We have 7 in here and they really like sitting on the roosting bar and being able to come out to play in the grass. It would be nice to have more air flow in the box so we will add another window with mesh on the other side of the coop.

The delivery service was awful. 5 days late

Ive seen a few negative reviews on this coop but it actually turned out to be awesome. This coop is better for smaller chickens, than regular ones. I have 2 cochins in this and perfect size for them. Yes I cam add a few more (which I plan to)

Within less than 24 hours something got in and killed all my chickens. Nothing broke into it and everything was intact. It just opened the latch and pulled them out. So much for “predator resistant”. To top off losing all our chickens, Tractor Supply is only willing to give us less than half of the cost back.

Solid chicken coop

Searched multiple sites before buying, price wise, this coop is the same or better than those twice it's price. And we got on sale. Wasn't too hard to assemble out of the box. Durable materials and the overall security is great. It uses good hardware cloth and the roof and wood part aren't cheap material. Only thing I added was hardware cloth zip tied to the bottom for security against digging under. Holds our 3 chickens well could do the 6 it says is the max.

very easy to set up and build. just as soon as I got it together I put the chickens in it. So far, they love being outside. I am thinking of getting another one just as soon as I can

When I first purchased this coop it definitely had a better rating than when I came back to write this review. We had several pieces that came out of the box with peeled paint. I would not really consider this long term safe for my chickens. I am going to make some modifications until we can just build something else for our chickens. It is not worth what they are asking for it, even on sale. I think I would have rather spent the money on a better coop.

This chicken bungalow was easy to put together and very sturdy. It has a good run space for the chickens and Predator proof, I'd buy it again

Great little coop for our 3 chickens!

Bought product already assembled. Using for 3 hens. Nice design.

This coop is really great. Has many doors for easy access. Comfortably fits my 4 pullets. The material is very durable and i feel like its very secure. The locks on the doors could be better tho. Also, there is not enough ventilation in the coop. Only a tiny window. My birds were overheating. I put a thermometer inside and it read 100 degrees on a day that was 65 outside. I just removed all the flooring and my hens are doing a lot better. When I purchase this coop at the store, the box was a bit damaged. When I opened my box some of the hinges on the gates were broken. I was able to fix them but it was very upsetting.

Chicken coop too for 6 chickens

Great starter for our chickens. They love it! Easy to clean with all the doors that open. They stay warm and cozy when its cold and rainy.

Sturdy little coop. Instructions are misleading and description is not honest about the amount of chickens that can comfortably live in it. Doesn't help that our local TSC sold us a different larger chicken coop they didn't have and ran us around the building for half an hour before telling us, "we can get this one instead, it's the same." It's not the same and now we have a few weeks to solve the space we need for the amount of chickens they required us to get.

Much smaller and flimsier quality than expected especially for the higher inflated price.

The coop is cute and so far the right size for our 5 hens. Durability has something to be desired. One latch was broken. But that’s irrelevant because we had to had critter proof locks, the one on the coop is useless. Also, the door to the hen house immediately broke off the hinges and cannot be repaired because it is a solid piece to the wall of the house.

This is a decent box store chicken coop. Assembly is easy enough. Took me about 45 minutes to put it together by myself. It sucks that there isn't a wheel and handle kit. I made one myself out of random things I had in the garage, 1/2 inch steel bar stock, u bolts, washers, cotter pins and a pair of casters I took apart for the wheels. I also made handles out of old bicycle pegs to be able to lift it onto the wheels to move the coop. It is too heavy to be sliding across the ground. (Pics 1 & 2) The nesting box door can over travel when closing, not a huge issue, just leaves about an inch gap if pushed closed too far. I made a stop out of a nut and bolt after drilling a hole. (Pic 3) Overall, I'd recommend with the modifications I made.

Three hinges were completely broken, the wood blocks holding the nesting box dividers were all broken off.

First off, the quality is top-notch. We already have a larger black-and-white version of this coop, and after a year with no issues, I can confidently say the materials are excellent. This particular model works well for smaller chickens, but there are some design flaws worth noting. The biggest issue is the setup of the roosting bars. Unless you can find a way to lower them while still allowing the chickens to move around comfortably, you’ll likely need to remove one. As it stands, the ceiling is too low, which could cause discomfort or injury. The coop door is also very small—I was surprised my Barred Rock chicken could even fit through it. The nesting boxes are quite cramped as well, with limited headroom. Additionally, the latch on the nesting box felt flimsy, so I ended up replacing it with a sturdier option. Another issue is the door for the tray; it’s uneven and leaves a noticeable gap that will need fixing. There’s also room for better ventilation—it really should have come with an additional vent. Overall, while the build quality is solid, the design needs improvement. I think a more reasonable price would be in the $250–$300 range until these issues are addressed.

I feel like the size would only be sufficient for 2-3 chickens, most definitely not a maximum of 6. Very low to the ground as well. I definitely think it's overpriced for the size it is. Run is very small. Trying to figure out where to put food and water and still give my 6 chickens room to walk around. Should be fine for a temporary housing, but not long term. And I was sent the wrong color. Ordered black and gray, got white and black. Lastly, it was pretty easy to assemble.
