The Ideal Animal Health Alushield Aluminum Powder Spray is a convenient, water-resistant aerosol bandage that creates a protective barrier against external irritants in simple wounds of animals of all sizes. It contains aluminum powder for better wound protection. It's perfectly suited to use in conjunction with an antibiotic ointment for complete treatment.Brand may vary by store

This stuff is seriously incredible. I use it in my vet kit for emergencies but have had a hard time locating this in store or online. I went on SCAH to 'refill' my vet kit and HAD TO ADD THIS!!! It is a must have!!!

This product is my absolute favorite for treating scrapes and cuts. It provides a protective barrier and dries the issue up quickly. My horse loves taking bandages off so this has been a game changer. I recommend it for all horse or dog owners!

My horse cut his foot just above his hoof & a friend came to the rescue with AluShield. Saved the day so ordered more for myself & her. The cut healed quickly & didn’t get infected. Will always have this on hand for easy application especially when the area can’t be wrapped easily.

This stuff is the best. Sprays on silver. It's not the 'blue stuff' that reportedly stings when applied. Excellent if you raise chickens, because it completely covers any raw/red areas so as to not invite pecking by other birds. I've got sheep, goats, and a steer, and there are a myriad of opportunities to put this to use, especially in summer, keeping flies and fly strike at bay. BUY THIS!

Great stuff, definitely recommend. My horse cut his leg deep enough to require stitches and then after suture removal it reopened. I used this daily to keep the wound clean and infection free while it healed from the inside out. Will make sure it is a staple in my barn from now on.

I first saw my vet use this product and I purchased my own afterwards. I always have it on hand now. It's the best for cuts/scrapes/wounds that you can't bandage easily. I even use it over top of the bloodstop powder or over ointment. My only disappointment in it-- is how long it takes to dry-- so keep that in mind.
