SO dusty!!! Bought this for my guinea pigs and I literally have a sore throat after changing their shavings out due to all the dust. It’s EVERYWHERE!!! Do not recommend with small pets.

Filthy, dirty, dusty bedding. There’s no way bedding this dirty is safe for my rats. I dumped some of the bag in the base of their cage and there was a dust cloud. Should have known by the off smell that TSC had sold me another nasty product. Ive had to clean the entire cage and the surrounding area due to just how much dirt and dust was in this bag. I shouldn’t have trusted tractor supply to sell decent bedding in the first place, I don’t want my rats to get mites. I have bought two bags of products that are unrelated to this bedding that were writhing with bugs and I was given ridiculous excuses about “issues with the supplier” when TSC is clearly damaging and improperly storing products. I’ve been buying those 2 products for many years and TSC is the only one that manages to sell me a bag of insects. Finally the excuses are true - this dirty bag actually does look like a supplier issue because even tractor supply couldn’t stuff that many contaminants into a tightly wrapped bag of shavings. Still their fault for selling it.

This bedding is definitely not dust free and I have noticed that some of my baby chicks are twitching and itching so now we are going to be checking for mites…. Don’t recommend

Only bought this brand because my usual brand has not been in stock. This bedding is very very dusty to the point u can't breathe without inhaling dust. Also smells like cow manure. Also has loads of huge chunks of wood and is not very well processed. 1/10 would not recommend (only gave a 1/10 because it's better than nothing)

The best litter for pet rabbits! Not harmful to rabbit's lungs like cedar and pine are due to the natural oils in the cedar and pine.

Works great for my foster rabbits. Clean and keeps the waste from their fur.

Thankful my store had two packages left before the big ice storm. Dogs snuggled in it and stayed warm in their dog house.

This product has cedar shavings in it. Cedar shavings are TOXIC to reptiles.

Extremely dusty and the texture and color are very inconsistent. Sometimes white, sometimes yellow, sometimes it's shredded, other times it’s more like shavings. I would go with 2 stars, but at least it’s absorbent.

I purchased this online at Tractor Supply's website & picked it up at the store shortly thereafter. The staff had it ready for me when I walked in the door, which was very convenient. I actually bought this to use as mulch in one of the areas of my back yard. I have a lot of different animals who visit my yard daily (squirrels, chipmunks, birds, and rabbits) so I'm very careful not to put down any type of chemicals or pesticides of any kind, and a lot of the 'regular' mulch products do contain dyes which could be potentially harmful (especially to rabbits who chew on everything) and I don't want to hurt any of them! I had read another customer's review of this product who mentioned using it as mulch in their vegetable garden, and that's what gave me this idea. This bedding is clean & beautiful & is of a very high quality. I'm very happy with this purchase. It's working out great for what I needed.

Very, very dusty and really strong smell.

Advertised as dust free, but it is extremely dusty and has an odd smell for aspen bedding. Also, appears and smells like it has cedar mixed into it which can be lethal to some animals. False advertising. Disappointed . Bad product. Avoid!!!

This item was purchased for our reptile enclosure. It works great. Great price as well.

I did not use this for pet bedding but as a mulch for my strawberries. I have used straw in the past and there was always dust & seeds. This seems to be working great & it's not acidic like pine shavings.

I bought this because it said it was dust free. It’s not! When I opened the bag dust flew everywhere. More dust flew all over anytime I tried to pick up some of the bedding. Very disappointing and worried my animals will get sick from breathing it in.

Everything is great as far as the cost and the size of the packaging. However, it is NOT DUST FREE as advertised. It is the exact opposite, at least the bag i got was. I was coughing a LOT when I pulled a few handfuls out... In fact, just gently pushing on it caused a bunch of dust to fly up. There was dust everywhere. I got a vacuum and sucked the air as I moved the bedding around. I hope it doesn't harm my hamster, I got as much dust out as I could.

CAUTION!!!!! I just purchased several bags of this bedding from Tractor Supply and every one of them had cedar mixed in with the aspen!! Cedar is toxic to many animals and reptiles!!! If you have any of this, please inspect it closely before exposing your pets to it!!

Just OK, better than the TSC brand shavings (which are actually chunky wood chips), but not as soft as Snowflake Canadian soft wood shaving. Also, more expensive than Snowflake.

Absorbent and helps reduce odor.

It is dusty. Not fine & not soft.  Using it for a few weeks.  Noticed bumble foot developing in several of our  hens, due to wood splinters.   Raked it all out, replaced with chopped straw.  Our geese refused to walk on it.
