This PORTER-CABLE PC70THD 1/2 in VSR 2-Speed Hammer Drill delivers the power and durability to complete the toughest drilling applications. The dual-speed transmission delivers maximum torque in setting 1 and maximum speed in setting 2. Piece of junk

The Porter Cable Hammer drill is junk. As others have said, it started smoking on the 2nd use and then quit. Something inside broke and I can pull the chuck away from the drill about an inch or more. I bought the 2 year replacement plan (which I normally don't do) because of the negative reviews and now I am going through the claim process to get a refund. Don't buy it, it is junk.
