- A: Hi. Weeping Willows are extremely cold-hardy trees that naturally tolerate extended winter weather down to USDA hardiness zones 4 or 5 without needing special protection. So, they are generally considered great fits for hardiness zones 4 to 9. Pirtle Nursery advertises, as a preference, that they will thrive best in hardiness zones 5 to 9. Please remember, the lowest temperatures are best survived after the tree has become established. An established tree is one that has successfully adapted to its new environment and grown a robust root system into the surrounding native soil, no longer requiring regular human intervention like constant watering. - A: Hi. Our Weeping Willows are currently within their growing season. A normal size #5 Weeping Willow when sold are within 5-6 feet in height. In the first of spring, they will be closer to 5ft as the growing season has just started. Hope this helps!2 months agoHelpful?

- A: Hello. Our Weeping Willows are currently within a growing season, so they are smaller in the spring. A normal size Weeping Willow when they are sold should be within 5-6 feet in height.
