Good except one thing

I like this carrier except for the lid. This is why I purchased this one, too but I didn’t know the lid wouldn’t stay open . This makes it difficult to get my kitty in with two hands .

Made in the USA and it shows!!

New kitten needed a carrier because first one was made over seas and kept falling apart. I saw this and it is PEEFECT!! Put a small cat bed in the bottom for travel and comfort. I LOVE the spring lock on the door. No plastic and useless “knobs”. THANK YOU, Petmate!!!

Would love it if it were 3 inches larger.

This is way too small for my 9 1/2-pound cat by far. He can't stand up in it, nor turn around without difficulty. There is no way I would subject them to spending more than a minute in such a tiny space. It's too bad, as I had a lot of hope for this carrier. The 24-inch carrier is HUGE for either of my cats, so I've been wanting a smaller (but not this small) of a carrier.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Love the top load and he can see out of it

I bought this for our monthly or so vet visits. My Beau is not a fan of crates or carriers but doesn’t mind this one as much because he can look up and see me and also see out of the holes on the side. It feels very sturdy and he cannot claw through the plastic. Several of the workers at our veterinarian’s office even asked me where I got it because she liked the design of it so much!

Yes, I recommend this product.
