Q: Is this bottle and nipple good for a baby squirrel whose eyes are open

1 Answer
  • A: Yes you can use the nurser bottle for a baby squirrel. We do offer the 2-ounce bottle in a kit which would contain a longer nipple that might be more suitable for a squirrel. In any event, please watch the squirrel to ensure it does not chew on the nipple.

Q: I have a preemie puppy. Would the nipple be a good size for her? I tried the 4 oz bottle but seems to big for her mouth.

1 Answer
  • A: Yes, if the 4 oz. is too big, we have had people use the 2 oz. nurser bottle on a preemie puppy.

Q: Do I have to poke hole in nipple to feed kittens 2 weeks old

1 Answer
  • A: Hello! Check flow with water. A steady drip or thin stream should be achieved when a slight pressure is applied to the nipple. If one or more of the animals is ill use a different bottle or feed ill animal last. Wash bottle, cap and nipple with hot soapy water and rinse thoroughly after each feeding session. If animal is too small or weak to nurse, consult your veterinarian.

Q: Would this nipple be small enough for a baby rabbit whose eyes are open, can hop around, but can't eat solids yet?

1 Answer
  • A: We typically recommend our elongated nipple for rabbits, the standard 2 oz nurser nipple may work but the tip is slightly more bulbous where as the elongated nipple comes to a narrow point.

Q: How do I know what size hole I need to puncher in the nipple

1 Answer
  • A: It is at the user's discretion to choose the size of the hole. The smaller the hole, the slower the flow. We would recommend contacting an animal health professional if you are unsure of how quickly the animal should feed.

Great for someone who isn't me.

The bottle is probably awesome for more experienced nipple slicers... of which I am not. The puppies either struggled to get milk or drowned. Had to make an emergency run to the dollar store for newborn human bottles because puppies were ending up not getting enough food. After two days of use, the nipple ripped down the side. Like I said, probably great for someone who isn't me.

No, I do not recommend this product.
