Death trap for snakes

Its OK for growing grass, the coverage isnt as good as a bale of hay. It also happens to be a death trap for all snakes. Have fun cutting the snakes out of the mesh. They try to go underneath and the mesh grabs their scales and they get stuck then struggle and eventually become strangled or die from exposure. Its not a nice death trap to put in your yard. Just buy straw it works better anyway. It's also not easy to unroll.

Good quality material with rolls I got, on my part

I am sorry to hear about some people have had with the straw roll blankets. I myself have had good results with it keeping my horse manure together when spread within the garden area, to keep weeds out and grow grass instead of weeds. Like all else, product being made by machines, for sure not all rolls will come out 100% perfect.
Would be nice, if such rolls that fail to be in some way replace being such was failure of product, and not the buyers fault in using the product. with proof of pictures, etc., but than being the way this world and people are not to honest, try to take advantage.
All in all, my experience with item has been good. Picture part blow not working on this site so can not send pictures.

Very little straw in the roll. Unrolled it to cut in shorter pieces and half of the little straw was left in the netting. not worth the price.

Do not recommend. Once you start unrolling, all the straw falls off. So you are left with a just a net on top of the ground.

Sorry but this product isn't worth it. Almost like just putting nylon mesh on the ground. What little straw was embedded just falls away when you roll it out.

Not impressed with this product. The straw in the mesh was thin in spots, heavy in others and no straw along one edge for the first 2-3! In inward .

Awful product. Not a lot of straw and the roll doesn't advertise that it's put on a plastic mesh and not something that biodegrades. Can't use it in a place you intend to mow.

Been trying to establish some yard grass around my new house. There is some slope areas that just kept washing out. Bought this blacket and this has helped tremendously in allowing the grass to remain in place and germinate. Easy to use.

It is ok and sort of performed as intended. It was way overpriced at $80 but I suppose manufacturing costs are high, bidenomics and all. There were some bare spots where the straw was missing as well.

Hardly any straw in it. Middle of the roll had a lot of straw for about 2’ rest was mostly just net. Bought 5 rolls and 1 roll was already rotten. Tore apart while trying to unroll it
