It kills 100+ insects including ants, fleas, ticks, spiders, grubs and more (refer to product label for insect lists). The granules kill by contact and can be used in your vegetable and flower gardens, and around the perimeter of your home. Apply pre-emptively before or immediately after observing any insect activity to create a bug barrier for up to 3 months of protection (refer to product label for listed insects). Don't just treat the brown areas of the lawn--to prevent further damage, apply to your entire lawn. Kills insects above and below the ground. for best results, apply during early Spring or Summer. for uniform and even coverage, use a Scotts spreader to apply. Then thoroughly water the treated area immediately after application. Allow the area to dry before people and pets re-enter treated areas.
