Feed NUTREBEEF 14% Creep 2 times per day, at the same time each day. Introduce gradually and feed calves only what they will eat before the next feeding. Do not allow feed to build up in the bunk and get moldy. Keep hay available at all times and feed a little extra hay when their appetitie seems unusually high. Increase intake by no more than 1 LB per head per day. Normal intake on full feed is 2.5 - 3% of animal's weight.
Provide plenty of fresh clean water at all times.

Our baby calf, relies on me to feed him and he was a little skinny not eating his feed as much. I switch to this and he loves it. He has fattened up and doing great!!

I had a sick calf that wouldn't eat any other pellets but these. My review isn't so much about the feed as it is the ridiculous shipping charge. Both of my calves like these pellets over the Producers pride I originally bought and even the color and smell shows the difference in the quality between the 2 brands.
My issue is that a lot of the foods I prefer (Calf, Chicken, cat, ETC) are not a stock item but can be ordered. This feed does not give me the option to order for pickup at a later date at the store I can only choose "Ship to home" a 50 pound bag of feed cost 11.99 while the shipping fee is 15.99, I had to pay more for shipping than I did for the bag of feed!!!
Only reason I paid it was because my calf was pretty sick and we needed them asap.

My calf seems to like this feed a lot he was started on NutreBeef at a month old and as soon as I poured it into his feeder he went straight to eating it. As of right now I will be keeping this creep feed in stock at the house for all of our feeder calves. Side note my dairy goats also love this feed. They will rush into the calfs stall to steal a nibble lol.
