Our orders ship Monday through Friday. Orders received after 1PM CST on Friday will ship the following Monday. If there are items that are not temperature sensitive in the same order as cold-ship items, we'll attempt to package and ship separately. Compounds in this class selectively bind with increased affinity to the glutamate-gated chloride ion channels within muscle and nerve cells of invertebrates. This causes permeability to increase in the cell membrane to the chloride ions with muscle or nerve cell hyperpolarization, causing paralysis and subsequent parasite death. These compounds can interact with other channels of ligand-gated chloride, including GABA-gated channels. This class of compounds is considered safe because mammals do not possess glutamate-gated chloride channels, so macrocyclic lactones possess low affinity for other types of ligand-gated chloride channels of mammals. They will not willingly breach the blood-brain barrier.<br><br><b>Special Precautions</b><ul><li>Do not use in any species of animal not expressly permitted by the product label. This can lead to serious side effects, including death in dogs.</li><li>This product is specifically developed for use in American bison, reindeer, swine, and cattle.</li><li>Not for intramuscular or intravenous injection.</li><li>If an infection is suspected at the site of injection, notify your veterinarian.</li><li>Monitor cattle for signs of an injection site reaction.</li><li>Properly disinfected and cleaned needles must be used to reduce the chances of an injection site infection.</li><li>Never treat swine 18 days prior to slaughter (or less).</li><li>Not for use in calves intended for veal processing.</li><li>No withdrawal period is established for use in pre-ruminating calves.</li><li>Never treat cattle 35 days (or fewer) prior to slaughter.</li><li>No milk withdrawal is established; therefore, this product should not be used in breeding age female dairy cattle.</li><li>Not for human use.</li><li>Keep out of reach of animals and children.</li></ul><b>Overdose Information</b><br><br>Call your nearest emergency pet hospital<br><br><b>Side Effects</b><ul><li>Some cattle may experience short-term discomfort after subcutaneous injection.</li><li>Rarely, injection site soft tissue swelling has occurred.</li></ul>These reactions disappear on their own and do not require treatment.
