A problem solved

Finally, a bird feeder pole that won't fall to the side as soon as the rather heavy feeders are hung. The ground stake socket solves a problem I've had with so many poles. I can drive this stake in deep. The others don't go deep enough and the silly prongs are worthless. And this one is high enough, that a squirrel baffle seems to keep the squirrels off.

Nice feeder pole

This is a nice feeder pole. It’s 8’ tall and still plenty high after it’s placed in the ground. Taller than others I’ve had.

Bird feeder pole went up quick and looks nice!

This bird feeder pole went together very quickly for me. I soaked the ground with water and waited a bit. Drove the stake bottom into the ground with a mallet and everything else slid together.

Poorly Constructed

The sections do not fit together snugly leaving you with a wobbly, off-kilter pole. We ended up having to shim the base and wrap duct tape inside the joints to get them to form a rigid structure.
