Q: Can MMR Fast Mold Removal be used on exterior Doug Fir siding that's already been finished with log oil ? I don't know if the black mildew/mold is under the finish or on top of the finish.

  • A: We recommend you sample a small area (1”x1” or 3”x3” or 6”x6”) to see what the MMR will remove based on where the mold is located. Normally, MMR would remove a finish, but the best option here would be to find a test area.

This product really works! I used MMR product in the attic because there was mold on the sheeting side of the roof and joist from the lack of proper ventilation. Wear a proper respirator mask this is powerful stuff that works.
