This three button remote can program up to 3 Mighty Mule devices, providing access to your gate and garage from the same remote. This remote will work with previous models just the setup is different please refer to the manual or contact tech support for setup instructions. I have two gate openers, one I bought about five years ago and one that I bought about six months ago. The gate opener from five years ago has a single button remote opener that works with just one push of the button from 50 or more yards away. The most recent opener came with the horrible 3 button garage door opener that you have to be within 15 yards to open with multiple pressing of the button. Why Mighty Mule...Why??!! P.S. To Tractor Supply. This is an honest review. Check your records. My wife and I bought both of these from you. Please approve and post this review unlike the last time I tried to post. After we bought the product you asked us to give a review of this product so I did and you would not approve. That is wrong on so many levels and you know it. The next letter will be to the CEO.

Easy to program. Works from a longer distance than my old remote did. Couldn’t find any with just one button and I didn’t need the other two spots on the three button remote. Would have been nice if my old remotes worked so it would have saved me money not having to buy all new remotes.

After I programmed the remote to open our gate, I tested it several times and the distance that the gate opened compared to our single button remotes was cut in half. In addition, I could not get it to operate my garage door opener. After an hour of trying to program it, I packed it back up and will be returning it for a refund.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Contractors put in the MM gate opener for me. Did a good job, but it's never been quite right. Got it working adequately on my own. Then I needed a spare remote button and got this one expecting to get another opener on the other end of the property. When it works, it's good. But often it takes several presses to get the signal through. And sometimes it reads the signal twice, which stops the opener because it thinks it's hit an obstruction, and that requires a reset.

This gate system is best attributed for ease of installation and basic use. No a good system for a modern human used to technology of 2021 such as a . Its basic and cheaply made with many outsourced components. The remote also does not appear to be compatible with Homelink in your car. Major flaw!!!!!
