This quality high speed Mibro 9/16 in. Silver and Deming Drill Bit is used for drilling large diameter holes in most ferrous and non ferrous metals. Not recommend for use on stainless steel

  • 135° split point tip eliminates the need for a center punch and keeps the drill bit from walking
  • 3 flats on the drill's shank insure that it is held tightly in the drill chuck
  • 3/8 in. reduced shank
  • Recommended for use with a drill press at slow speeds of 400 RPM's

Q: Can this be used on plaster?

  • A: Hi, it is not recommended to use Mibro 9/16 in. Silver and Deming Drill Bit on plaster, because plaster is highly abrasive and will quickly dull the bit's high-speed steel (HSS) edge.

    Don’t bother

    This drip bit is junk. Never have I had a big drill bit bend. Bent drilling first hole. TSC mgr was great. Ask me what I was drilling, (mild steel). Mgr looked at it and was shocked. Mgr said aren’t drill bits meant to drill? Yep I said. Refund was given. Please stock a different, better brand of drill bits. Great mgr, poor product

    Good bit if you pre-drill up to 1/2 inch and use this bit to take out the last 1/16. Only works on really mild steel.
