This shampoo does make a horse look shiny, but it also left her looking oily. I wasn't sure I washed it all off she looked so oily so re-rinsed her after she dried and there were no suds so it seems that whatever it is that makes them shiny can make them look oily. I used it on a black going grey in case it matters. I am always trying new shampoo, but passing this on to someone else.

I use this on my long coat show dogs. It always makes them look fantastic and shiny! It doesn't have an over powering super fragrant smell either.
