Majic Tractor Truck & Implement Enamel Paint is a durable, heavy-duty alkyd enamel paint specially formulated for excellent adhesion, and resistance to weathering and corrosion. It may be applied by brush or spray, and dries to a high gloss finish. For use on iron, steel, aluminum and properly primed galvanized metal. It dries to a high gloss finish. Available in 1 gal. cans of paint.

- A: Hi Neighbor! Yes, you can apply Majic Massey Ferguson Red Tractor & Implement Enamel over an already painted surface, provided it is properly prepared. The surface must be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, and loose, peeling paint. For best adhesion, sand existing glossy paint with 350-grit sandpaper, and apply over a compatible primer if the surface is worn down to bare metal.7 months agoHelpful?

- A: The recommended solvent to reduce Majic Tractor, Truck & Implement Enamels (and Primers) is Majic Reducer, 8-0750, at an 8:1 ratio (8 parts Majic T&I Enamel (or Primer) to 1 part Majic Reducer. Majic Reducer is a proprietary blend of “exempt” solvents that, when mixed according to package directions, adds 0 VOC, and allow the host product to remain VOC compliant. VOC = Volatile Organic Compounds found in some solvents, and other components, that contribute to smog, air pollution and air quality – all manufacturers are very closely regulated by the federal government to keep finish products within allowable VOC limits. Solvents such as Mineral Spirits, and VM&P Naptha, are miscible – and will work – when used with Majic T&I Enamels & Primers but will move the host product out of VOC compliancy – and therefore, NOT recommended. When applying Majic Tractor & Implement Products, be sure to follow directions carefully – with special attention to the recommended applied thickness (recommended at 2.5 – 3.0 mils wet) and the allowable recoat times 9 (minimum 24 hours) as too heavy an application, and/or recoating too soon will result in a film that won’t dry “hard” for several days…or longer. - A: Majic Clear Coat High Gloss Lacquer is available at TSC stores, and is compatible with – and designed to be applied over – Majic Tractor, Truck & Implement Enamels…Please be aware that the final coat of Majic T&I MF Red must be allowed to cure for 14 days prior to the application of Majic Clear Coat (application soonerthan 14 days may result in film lifting, or wrinkling). Majic Clear Coat provides a deeper gloss (greater depth-of-image), and provides greater UV resistance, against color fade and loss of gloss, than Majic Enamels will provide by themselves. Majic Clear Coat is ready-to-spray, and requires no reduction – do not use Majic Catalyst Hardener with Clear Coat. Do not use automotive clears over Majic T&I Enamels – use only Majic Clear Coat in strict accordance to package directions.3 years agoHelpful?

I have painted many Tractors If you use a Hardener (Majic Catalyst Hardener 8-0950-4) and Mid Temp Reducer I use ( Nason Ful- Base Reducer 441-21 Med Temp any Mid Temp Reducer for Enamel will work. You will have a long lasting shiny Finish. It will Dry Fast and look Awesome for many years !!!

I bought a gallon of gloss black. Hardner and reducer. Went on smooth no runs. Dried in 8 hrs
I used a spray gun if you've never us a spray gun
You gotta try it way better than rolling a rattle canning i. Iput it on a equipment trailer.

good paint to work with covers well

This paint covers well , I did have to put in more reducer then it called for . My paint gun has a small nozzle I believe that is why I had to put in more reducer. I really like the shine when finished. I plan on putting on clear coat. I would recommend this paint.
