I am totally amazed! I ordered 10,000 mealworms and they came next day air. Packed 5000 to the box and two boxes taped together. Nice packaging too. I opened each box over a large tub and let worms and packing fall in tub. Unfolded and straightened paper packing inside the tub and worms fell right off into the large tub Then poured them into the bin I had set up for them with wheat meal and carrots. Kept egg crate pieces for their bin playground. I could not believe that out of 10,000 mealworms, I only picked out 16 dead. That is fantastic and I will certainly make Mack's my go to for mealworms!

All worms arrived alive even in the winter in MN. Ships fast and cheaper than a pet store and less hassle. I tell anyone who has pets about the worms and crickets from here.

Most mealworms survived transport. 1000 worms came in an extremely small box overstuffed with brown paper. Unpacking the box was incredibly difficult all many worms were inside and all over the packing paper. Would have been nice to see them in a larger box or contained all together a little better. Seemed a though they poured 1000 mealworms freely in a box of brown packing paper..

Mealworms came exactly as described, alive and well.

As far as I could tell, they were all alive. Just beware when you open the box, there is no container, just brown wrapping paper and worms. Be prepared to have something to put them in. 🤣

This is the 2nd time I've ordered live mealworms from TS & amazingly, once again they all arrived alive & very active. The first time I ordered the large, thought I'd order the medium this time. They were smaller than I thought they'd be but they'll grow & fatten up before both of my turtles can eat them all. I will definitely purchase again. Highly Recommend, Thank You!!

bluebirds love them. They keep coming to the feeder. Packaging could be a little more secure. But delivery is fast.

No way did I receive 1,000 mealworms. I bought them for my chickens - I have a total of 13 chickens. More like pets, really. Spoiled - and love their mealworms. Raised them all from a "neighborhood" chicken that decided to lay a clutch in our barn. The box they came in was a great box for shipping, but was bout 6-7" square. Mesh on two sides. Packed with paper and sawdust to help keep them from being jostled around. Packing was excellent. I cut open one side of the box and started shaking them out. The chickens LOVED them! OMG, it was fun to watch. But in less than 30 seconds, all mealworms were shook out and eaten. So, I'm to believe that, on average, each chicken at 77 mealworms each in less than half-a-minute? They're quick, but not that quick. I don't have time to count them, which I could have done - but it was an afterthought as I assumed there would be 1,000 mealworms in the box. But I seriously doubt there was anywhere close to 1,000. They were in great health, very few died (which is to be expected). Same with the 1,000 ct crickets I ordered.

This is the 2nd live mealworm order placed over 2 months. The first order arrived in excellent condition…the worms were lively. You could even hear them moving about in the boxes. Unfortunately the second order arrived with 99.9% mortality. The box was silent. Found 3 sluggish worms, barely moving upon emptying into the grow container. Out of 5000…that’s not good at all. I don’t think they should ship live insects during summer months. I certainly won’t be ordering again during the summer.

These mealworms arrived well packaged and alive. They were very high quality and our Guinea keets loved them!

I rarely provide negative feedback, as I have had previously ordered from here and had good results; however, my mealworms took 4+ days to arrive and many were dead (probably 1/4 ) and many pupae. They smelled extremely bad. Previous orders arrived promptly and alive. Not sure if I will order from them again.

The mealworm shipment arrived during a heat wave, fast shipment, with all alive and healthy. The Carolina wrens and their babies thank you.

Every one of them was alive! I was so impressed. The box they came in looked like a mess but it was still great for the shipping. Even the delivery guy was interested. This was exactly what I wanted!

Very lively; reproducing well. It was difficult to get them out of the box…hidden in the folds. A cheese cloth bag would’ve been nice inside the box

I appreciated receiving the mealworms so quickly from Mack's Natural Reptile. I think packaging could be improved without major cost. If there was an inside liner in the box there wouldn't have been so many worms crawling out all the seams of the box.

Mealworms were shipped promptly and looked good when they arrived. Some dead (black) but that's to be expected. I did notice mealworms coming out from inside the corrugated box, they had crawled into the cardboard channels. It took me a while to get them out, I had to peel the cardboard layers apart. Now I know to check inside of the cardboard channels. I have had two Bluebird nests this year (my first year) and they have gone through what I had raised and I thought it would be plenty for them. I got tired of ordering again when supply got low so I ordered the largest amount I could. Looks like I may have to order again. Very good mealworms and very healthy Bluebirds. The meal worms were in a box with paper. When the box was opened, they were in the seams, everywhere. I thought they would be better contained.

I got my box of worms. All we’re alive but the packaging was not very good. My bearded dragon was very excited when she saw live food again. She didn’t hesitate to eat them.

These worms were very healthy and quite active upon arrival, despite the cold weather. My chickens and boys love them!
