- A: We do have scupper plugs available in customer service. They are black, we do not have colored plugs available. However, it is not necessary to plug the scuppers. Here is a video that explains the purpose of those holes: https://youtu.be/A55nWxM3CMs?si=LviZr6prl_-beqUS The video mentions using foam golf balls as plugs, so you might be able to find those in the color you want. - A: These are the same kayaks. The price difference may reflect old stock that was made with materials that did not cost as much as they do now. - A: Scupper holes let the water that has splashed into your sit on top kayak drain out, keeping you drier than you would be if you had no holes. There's lots of different reasons why you might like to keep them plugged. Anytime the top of the cockpit or tank well is under the water level the water won't drain or it might even flood the cockpit/tank well, this may be due to the kayak's design or it having too much weight in it. When this happens some people plug their scuppers and deal with having water inside their kayak. If you choose to plug your holes, they can be ordered through our Customer Service Department. Bought one last year so my daughter can go along with me. The one BIG drawback is no seat back. My daughter doesn’t want to go out on it unless it has a seat back, she complained it hurt her back. And I’m not finding a simple seat the fits this without having to drill holes in it. For this one thing I would NOT recommend it.

My kids love these boats. This is our second time buying one. We have to caulk with clear caulk around the boat id badge because the rivets let water into the hull. Good value for the hours of outdoor time it encourages the kids to have.

This was a Christmas gift for my six-year-old grandson and every time he uses it, he thanks me so much and tells me how much he loves it! The only problem is that it’s very difficult for a young person to carry. The finger holds Don’t really work for that so some other kind of design for it to be easily portable is necessary

I just got this kayak for my son. I have not had a chance to put it to use yet.. I love the fact that it comes with a very nice paddle included with purchase. Qualty seems to be very solid. This is not going to be a cheap flimsy boat. It appears to be made of thicker solid materials... He can't wait to put it on the water this summer.
