Designed for extreme safety and stability, the Tamarack Angler has a stable flat bottom with deep tracking channels and stability chine rails. The kayak is constructed of blow-molded high-density polyethylene (HDPE) making it durable, UV-protected, and impact resistant. The 52 pound design and front and rear carry handles make it easy to transport to and from the waterfront. Most things about this kayak are good. great boat but both the seat strap clips broke and are cheap plastic. I used zip ties to hold it together because of slight back pressure and the clips popped out.

Clip that holds seat back pops loose under pressure at connection point on gunwale. Tried calling customer service 6 times-on hold an average of 7 minutes and never spoke to anyone. 1 month old yak used 5 times.

We have 4 Lifetime Tamarack Angler kayaks for the family and absolutely love them. They track well and are very stable and being sit on top models they are easy to get on and off of. As far as their customer service Dany, the rep that I worked with, was very responsive and got the items I needed shipped promptly.

I've had this kayak for a while now and I love the holes for my fishing poles. I like that it's wider then other kayaks. Lifetime warranty is amazing!!! I had one of the hatches blow off and I called them and another one was sent out. The design on the hatches are improved now so you can't loose the hatch lid.

I bought this for water play and some light fishing. Love it, floats great, handles good on the water. What I don’t like is the bottom seat cushion was already tearing and came loose at 2 of the grommets and the paddle is bowed from how it was shipped and stored at the store. Will definitely be looking for a better seat and a different paddle.

I got this for Mother’s Day! I have borrowed my son’s Pelican fishing kayak for the last year and I had NO idea there could none that much of a difference in comfort and balance. My 5 year old sits between my legs on this and we are able to both fit comfortably and I can paddle and fish just fine! My son now wants to sell his Pelican and get a lifetime! ❤️

I got another brand kayak for my birthday but didn’t feel secure on it. So, long story short I am selling that one and we bought my husband a new Tamarac and I took his old Tamarac. The wells didn’t have baskets and I asked customer service and they got me well baskets at no charge! Thank you!

This is an excellent entry level fishing kayak. It has everything you need to get on the water and catch fish.
More importantly the customer service team exceeded all my expectations. My kayak was not equipped with the internal hatch bucket that is now included in newer models. Contacted the customer service team to inquire about purchasing the item. Without hesitation my customer service rep (Richard) stated he would send out the requested item without charge. That was more than generous and not expected. Five Star Rating for customer service.
