The 6 ft. Lifetime Wave Kayak is specifically designed for kids ages 5 and up, or up to 115 lbs. The wide stance provides a stable paddling platform to keep your child safely in the kayak. Its sloped back end and swim-up deck allows the rider to easily re-enter the kayak from the water. With scupper holes, multiple footrest positions, and great stability, the Wave is perfect for kids recreational kayaking.

Bought one last year so my daughter can go along with me. The one BIG drawback is no seat back. My daughter doesn’t want to go out on it unless it has a seat back, she complained it hurt her back. And I’m not finding a simple seat the fits this without having to drill holes in it. For this one thing I would NOT recommend it.

My kids love these boats. This is our second time buying one. We have to caulk with clear caulk around the boat id badge because the rivets let water into the hull. Good value for the hours of outdoor time it encourages the kids to have.

This was a Christmas gift for my six-year-old grandson and every time he uses it, he thanks me so much and tells me how much he loves it! The only problem is that it’s very difficult for a young person to carry. The finger holds Don’t really work for that so some other kind of design for it to be easily portable is necessary

I just got this kayak for my son. I have not had a chance to put it to use yet.. I love the fact that it comes with a very nice paddle included with purchase. Qualty seems to be very solid. This is not going to be a cheap flimsy boat. It appears to be made of thicker solid materials... He can't wait to put it on the water this summer.

Bought 2 for my 5 and 8 year olds after seeing many on the lake in the past. The kids figured out how to paddle instinctively and palled around the protected swim area for 3 hours. They beg to go again every day.
