Lifetime 8 x 7.5ft. Outdoor Storage Shed, 60370

I bought this a month ago and it took my friend and I 2 days 7 hours each day to put it together

Bought this unit 2 years ago, one wall buckled in so bad it popped the screws right out of the wall/bracket and my floor is buckled. It appears these will NOT hold up to the Arizona sun/temps after 2 summers. It was installed and anchored to a concrete pad thinking it would be good for some time. At this point I am contemplating trying to frame it all up inside or just tearing it down and building a real shed. Anyways, you live in Arizona, better think twice if your in areas that get hot for half the year.

I'm very impressed with the quality and design, the wall hooks are amazing, I'm surprised the skylights aren't clear, maybe it's better because of the sun might blind you.

I had two of us to put this shed together but the directions were confusing but we read it over a couple times to see what we were doing, after doing the small stuff it went well putting the large items together. Glad we got it done 7:1/2 hours give or take from lunch and coffee break.

Love the shed once we got it up. its definitely a two man job

Went together relatively easy, my wife did almost all the assembly, I was laid up with a new hip, by the way we're 73 years old. One thing was the panel reinforcement steel, we can't understand why the two back corners don't have it, we looked and double checked for it for about a half'n hour

this was a wonderful purchase. We live in a small home and I was able to put a lot of things in my shed. It’s very pretty resist rain great purchase.

My son and I took us about four hours both of us pretty simple and it looks very secure. We love it.

this is a great size. Seems to be sturdy Great storage for garden supplies.

I like that the instructions were divided by chapters and that the parts were individually bagged for that particular chapter. The video certainly cleared up some things while we put it together.

This shed is very sturdy. It was a bit of a challenge putting it together with just two people, but it was workable. It only took us 6.5 hours to assemble it completely, and that was with taking long breaks and a lunch break. The design is very straight forward and the instructions and YouTube video were so easy to follow, I have realized that Made In America is a standard I will always look for from now on when purchasing items that need to be assembled.

The build was very straight forward. I was able to accomplish it entirely on my own on a Saturday. Great instructions and I’m happy with the quality of the materials used.

I love everything about it but I am missing few things on my shed.

What a great little shed! If you are seeking a great little shed, this one is for you. My husband and I tested our relationship by choosing to install it ourselves. And, to my surprise, it was easy! The parts were in great shape and numbered. The instructional video was very helpful and accurate. We chose not to anchor it to our concrete slab, yet it survived 70mph winds and torrential rain this morning. Everything inside was dry and clean. YAY! It is without hesitation that I highly recommend the Lifetime 8’X7.5’ Outdoor Shed. Thank you and keep making quality products.

I ordered one of these before and I really liked it so this is my second one and I haven’t put it together yet

Very happily surprised on easy it went together. Only downside is the right hand door does not close all the way. It seems as though the top corner is wrapped and bows out so it does not close tight. Can this is replaced??? How do I go about getting a new door???

Instructions are useless as socks on a rooster. 2 or 3 steps just stopped right in the middle. I thought pages were missing but they weren't. Had to watch the videos to see what parts to use next. Some important details were missing such as metal support orientation on the Gables. Several parts bags were mislabeled. 2 of the roof panels were slightly different than the other 4 with no explanation in the manual but they all had the same 3 letter identifier. I got it assembled in about 7 hours by myself. I've done several of the backyard discovery outdoor playsets and their Instructions are 10x more clear on assembly. The shed itself is a great product but u might as well throw the Instructions in the burn pile with the boxes and watch the included videos for assembly. Seems durable so far. Roof was a little tricky to line up by myself but theres more than one way to skin a cat.

Easy to put together, however, bags of screws need to be labeled the same as the instructions.

Bought this one to replace my 20 year old shed

Bought first of Nov., put together all parts by instructions. Did not use the videos, only the book. Put one the wrong metal bar on one of the gables and when tried to reinsert screws, they all did not tighten up. This could have been avoided if instructions had better pics or descriptions of pieces. Otherwise it is fairly sturdy when completely together. May come back and write another review after use for year in the southeast Houston weather.

Made this purchase 6 months ago haven’t put together yet, because of some personal issues. Staring to assemble shed this week. Looking forward to getting shed assembled for the extra storage space it will give us.

Great for lots of stuff

Took awhile to set up but very nice looking.

I'd actually rate it 4.5. Basically it is very well made and the instructions are pretty clear, but it is CRITICAL that you follow the instructions in the order given (even if it isn't the way you think it should go together) and that your site is PERFECTLY level. Also, be sure to use the divot holes as guides - if the divots don't "line-up", then your pieces are not aligned correctly. Also, the divot holes/wells increase the strength of the connection and bring the parts into alignment. The only piece we had real problems with was the last roof panel. In spite of following all the "instructions", the back corner of the walls did not align with the roof panel. The back right wall was slightly bowed inward causing misalignment with the roof panel. This was not correctable with a rubber mallet. I ended up having to apply hydraulic pressure to get the piece in place. Once I got the parts into position under force, and fastened down, everything "fell into position". A few interesting points: It's advertised as a 7.5'x8' shed, but is slight less than that on the outside. It fits on an 8'x8' pad with a small margin on 3 sides & a definite ledge on the front - which worked fine for me. There are 3 windows: Two in the doors and one side window. The windows are plexiglass and the side window does open in a very unique manner - sliding the panel in its lateral grooves. There a 2 vents with bug-screens. There are 3 "skylights", but they are tinted to blend into the roof, & don't provide a huge amount of light. You will probably need internal lights - I'm using solar powered lights - solar panel on the roof powering internal lights. It took my wife & I two days to complete - I'm a pretty good DIYer. It would be extremely difficult to build alone. The second person need not be a "craftsmen", but there are many times you just need another set of hands. All-in-all, I am pleased with the final product, but would emphasize it IS a significant project!

It's just new to me, so far so good. Enough space for gardening/yard furniture storage. No leaks so far as it rained first time today.
