A: The shed does not need to be anchored down but can be if you prefer it to be. You can find instructions on how to anchor your shed toward the back of the assembly manual. You can download that beforehand from lifetime.com under the model number. Additional hardware may be required. • To anchor your shed, you must purchase the correct anchoring hardware. For a concrete platform, we recommend using a hammer drill, 5/16" (8 mm) masonry bit, ten (10) 3/8" x 2" (10 mm x 5 cm) Concrete Screws and ten (10) 3/8" x 1" (10 mm x 2,5 cm) Fender Washers.

A: Our Lifetime Sheds are made for storage and designed to be sturdy and withstand heat and winds up to 65 mph. Our Shed products are weather resistant, but not water tight or water proof. Water can get between the seams of the roof panels which is then collected by the truss channel and drained outside the shed. With this information you can store nice items in this shed and they will be well protected, but be mindful about humidity, extremely strong winds, fire etc. that could cause damage to any items stored in the shed. A: Due to the changeable nature of Florida weather, counties in the state of Florida have unique building codes for structures, including outdoor storage sheds. Certain Lifetime Sheds are approved for Dade County after being properly tested according to county guidelines.
