Use this Kopertox Liquid Thrush Aid to restore your horse's hoof health. Kopertox contains 37.5% copper naphthenate to target susceptible organisms and promote healing. It works to reduce secretions and inflammation and to heal other signs and symptoms of thrush. Kopertox is sold in a 16 oz. bottle.How it Works
This product helps to treat ponies and horses with thrush caused by copper naphthenate-susceptible organisms.
Special Precautions
- Thrush treatment for horses and ponies
- Provides water-resistant protection, without bandaging
- Contains 37.5% copper naphthenate to target susceptible organisms
- 16 oz. bottle of Kopertox
- FDA approved
- Product is combustible. Keep away from heaters, sparks, flame, or fire.
- Never use on an animal intended for food use.
- Keep away from pets and children.
- Always use this product in a well-ventilated area.
Copper Naphthenate
Clean the hoof thoroughly, removing debris and necrotic material prior to application of KOPERTOX. Apply daily to affected hoofs with a narrow paint brush (about 1") until fully healed. Caution: Do not allow runoff of excess KOPERTOX onto hair since contact with KOPERTOX may cause some hair loss. Do not contaminate feed.

- A: The product label label specifically states that this is intended for horses and ponies to treat thrush due to organisms susceptible to copper naphthenate. It is a harsher product intended for the thrush in horses' hooves.a year agoHelpful?
Q: Do you have to limit Kopertox only to the hoof and frog area only or can you get it on the heel bulb since my horses is split into there? Will it burn the raw skin?

Q: Do you have a video of where to apply on hoof? On frog, entire surface of bottom of foot?

- A: Unfortunately we do not. You will need to thoroughly clean the entire hoof and apply this product to the infected area as well as surrounding area to ensure complete coverage. Continue applying until healed and avoid getting this product on any hair.4 years agoHelpful?
