Using an acid solution

This product is so good for many different projects...just remember when diluting it you must add the acid to the water...NOT the other way around or you may get a violate reaction. I found that a 50/50 mix is about perfect for most jobs, and always keep a baking soda/water handy for neutralizing the acid after using it.

I bought 3 gallons and removed the rust in the Farmall Super A tractors fuel tank. Wonderful results.
After however I did not seal the tank and got flash rust. I am back to the Tractor store to get another gallon plus a gallon of acetone to clean it dry then a quart of sealer to swish in the tank to cover top bottom and sides. TSC has best prices compared to others in our area of Virginia.

Just what I needed

I looked online for this first and prices were way higher elsewhere. I was able to get this at my local store, and while the jug did not look anywhere near the same as the picture, it was just what I needed at a very good price. I'll be back to TSC for this product (Muriatic Acid) and other home, lawn, and garden needs.
FYI, I use the Muriatic Acid in a diluted water solution to clean my swimming pool filters.
