Love/hate

This is the second grinder we’ve purchased. Excellent grind consistency, very quiet, BUT CRAP GEAR TRAIN. A visiting daughter switched beans, the burr jammed, and the something in the gear train stripped. Despite a lot of really good design, the drive is not particularly smart. I’ll be taking this apart to rebuild for the shop coffee maker. Better gears and a torque detent on the burr would not be that expensive compared with some of the other features in this grinder.

It’s a Winner

Best Coffee Grinder I have ever owned. You can dial in number of cups for the strength of your coffee to the grind size of the beans. It’s quick and does NOT leave a mess on your counter. That was very important to me. If you are on fence, buy it.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Better than my previous grinder

Excellent coffee bean grinder and buying experience. *I used to own an Oxo *KitchenAid has a digital countdown clock based on desired # cups *KitchenAid spells out the different types of devices that particular settings might be used for *KitchenAid is quieter and faster *KitchenAid has a relatively air tight bean hopper to retain more freshness *KitchenAid has a static free grounds bin *KitchenAid looks great in Matte Charcoal Grey I used the KitchenAid website...smooth and perfect amount of order update communication. I even registered the product...totally easy.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Almost A+ But Love it Anyway.

I Have been using this grinder for a couple of months now. It is very quiet compared to me Blade smasher cheep "grinder". It is plenty quiet! I love the variability that it offers. I have not experimented with the Expresso grinding yet. I use it for Course grinding to make slow drip/simulated pour over with my Moccamaster. My issues are as follows: 1. The Grind size does not seem to change very much from Course to Semi-Course. 2. The amount ratio is completely off. If I grind on the 4 cups setting - it grinds almost enough for an 8 cup coffee. Lastly, I will say there is absolutely NO MESS. This grinder is VERY clean. No static hanging around, thus throwing grinds out when you pull the reservoir out. Love it.
