The excellence only Kitchenaid can provide!

The excellence I've known from Kitchenaid for four decades! I don't understand the one-star reviews. I could not be happier! The accessories fit the bowl perfectly without adjustment. It is noticeably quieter than my last Kitchenaid (which worked for 30 years!). Even at speed 10 it is quiet, does not wobble or walk on the counter. Excellent all-around!

The Second One Broke After 45 Seconds of use

I was mixing meat for meatballs for the second time. Both broke after 45 seconds of use. Do not buy until KitchenAid figures out these issues. AVOID

Poor Quality Control - Failed in First Two Minutes

Let me start with saying I love using KitchenAid Mixers. I'm on my fifth one. This one failed the first two minutes of operation. I'm told it is a faulty speed control board which my guess is, KitchenAid received defective ones. Stuff happens with anything mechanical. This could be avoided by testing the mixers, under normal load before shipping them to be sold. At this price point and with the reputation that was developed over many years, KitchenAid needs to fix this. Just my honest opinion. The mixer was sent back for a refund. I ended up purchasing from a different supplier and the 6 quart model. This 6 quart has worked perfectly no issues.

Very disappointed with the 7 quart bowl lift model

This is my second mixer and my first lift model. The first mixer I had for 40 years and was tilt back model. Yes it still works. I decided to upgrade because I wanted a larger bowl capacity and I thought I 'deserved' a new one. I was very disappointed. The bowl does not easily come off the stand and I have to grab it with 2 hands and it takes several tries to get the back button to secure in the hole. It is so hard to handle the bowl I dread having to take it off for any reason other than to wash it.

No, I do not recommend this product.
