- A: Yes, We use galvanized drink tanks for not just drinking but also for brooding chickens and ducks. It is super easy to make a wire top and mount a heat lamp to it. I have had some of mine for 9+ years. If you keep them off the ground they will not rust.5 years agoHelpful?

These small pails are the perfect size for kids! My daughter still has hers from when she was little and it’s a cherished keepsake for her. She used to love dressing like Laura Ingalls Wilder. This pail looks like the one used on the TV show. My daughter also found many more uses for her pail. Our neighbor girls also love Little House on the Prairie so I HAD to get them their own pails. They love them! I am so grateful to the young lady at Tractor Supply for ordering them for me, since they were out of stock. TC sent them directly to my home. That’s what I call Customer Service! Thank You so much!

THESE WILL KILL YOUR SMALL ANIMALS

Do not use any type of Hot Dipped Galvanized bucket for a pet water bowl unless you want to Zinc poison your pets. It is literally dipped in molten zinc and will cause vomiting, diarrhea, depression, etc. I have had 2 cats not die in the last 2 months without much reason and it's because of these bowls and the Zinc contained in the coating. They are advertised as being pet safe water bowls but that is a LIE!
No, I do not recommend this product.
