Q: what is the actual diamiter in inches of the tire?
a month ago- A: Hi Neighbor! The actual diameter of this trailer tire is 21.9 inches.a month agoHelpful?
Q: This add says speed rating is 81 mph so I bought 3 of them. On all the other sites it says the same tire is rated for 65 but the radial tire is 81. I dont want to have a blowout because of going over 65.What is the true speed rating?Disappointed now.
11 months ago- A: Hi Neighbor! This tire has a Speed Rating of 65 mph.11 months agoHelpful?
Q: will this fit my trailer? current wheel size is 4.8/ 12
a year ago- A: Hello, thank you for your question. The 530-12 tire and wheel assembly may be compatible with your trailer, but a few important factors need to be checked first: Bolt Pattern: This tire and wheel has a 4-lug, 4-inch bolt pattern. Please confirm that your trailer hub matches this. Size Difference: The 5.30-12 tire is slightly larger in both diameter and width than a 4.80-12 (about 1.4 inches taller and 1 inch wider). You’ll need to ensure your trailer has enough clearance around the fenders and suspension to accommodate this size.. If you’re unsure, we recommend consulting your trailer manufacturer or a qualified service provider before purchasing, just to ensure the larger size won’t cause clearance or fitment issues.a year agoHelpful?
Q: For the balancing question, How do i keep it from bouncing the load around at speeds of 50-70? The old tires were smaller, and di not do that. I replaced them w a bit taller tire to level it out. The boat weight 400lbs max
4 years ago- A: The maximum inflation for this tire is rated at 80psi. If a customer has them inflated to 80psi, that may make them too stiff and rigid – leading to bouncing. We suggest dropping the pressure to 40 psi and to see if the alleviates the issue. If this does solve the problem, we recommend switching from the current 530-12 Load Range C (Max 80 psi), to a 530-12 Load Range B (max 55 psi) and inflate at 40psi. The load range B tire would allow for 40psi inflation closer to the max inflation the tire was designed for. Other possible causes for bouncing would be: If the tires aren't properly inflated, The vehicle shocks are worn or aren't designed for the load, The weight in the trailer needs to be shifted, The trailer is overloaded and the suspension may be damaged, One of the axels might be damaged.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: do these need to be balanced after purchase?
4 years ago- A: Since the primary duty of a trailer tire is supporting a vertical load, rather than gripping an automobile through turns, trailer tires do not have to be dynamically balanced like passenger car tires do.4 years agoHelpful?
Q: What is the speed rating for this tire?
5 years ago- A: This tire is rated for 81 miles per hour regardless of the load on them. Running it over that speed for extended periods of time can cause excessive heat build up and lead to tire failure.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: where is this tire made
6 years ago- A: These tires come out of plants located in China & Taiwan.6 years agoHelpful?
