- A: "manufacturing" at a lower temp for a long time still bakes the bone and causes it to splinter. NOT GOOD. Boiling seems to be a way of cooking chicken bones without them splintering. Try that with your beef.5 years agoHelpful?

Initially I thought why pay so much for a bone this is highway robbery. When I went to the store a cashier explained to me that she got 1 for her pup he had it for months. I'm like wow. So I said I'll get 1. I have a 1 year old cane corso. And the she is so focused on her bone. I felt as if it was neglect to not have gotten this one sooner!! She takes it everywhere with her throughout the house..and shows visitors this is her prized possession. She is slowly breaking it down.It offers hours of entertainment and focus. A definitely must have for large breeds . Big chewers. Don't think about it. Buy 1 or 2. This online purchase was the second time ordering. You wont regret it!!!!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

I have purchased bones for my dogs for YEARS, and this was the first time I had not one but TWO of them vomit profusely after chewing on them for less than an hour. No big pieces were broken off, nothing seemed amiss. Both of my girls puked ENORMOUS quantities of food after chewing on these bones. I administered activated charcoal and the one puked twice today, after only chewing on the bone for less than an hour yesterday. I am questioning the safety of these bones.
