J-B Weld SteelStik is a hand-mixable, steel-reinforced, non-rusting epoxy putty that quickly repairs or rebuilds anything made of metal. After mixing, it forms an industrial-strength polymer compound that can be molded into shapes or used to build up, patch and repair steel components. SteelStik sets in 5 minutes and after 60 minutes, can be drilled, tapped, machined, ground, filed and painted. SteelStik cures to a dark grey color, is rated at a strength of 4000 PSI and will withstand temperatures up to 350 degrees F.

Q: Will steelstick adhere well to fiberglass to fill screw holes? Can it be redrilled after dry? What do you recommend to repair stripped out screw holes in fiberglass?
4 years ago- A: We would recommend the original JB Weld item number 8265S. It will adhere to fiberglass and once cured can be drilled and tapped. It is much stronger.4 years agoHelpful?
