Q&As

1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: Will this work on welded joints that are leaking?

1 Answer
  • A: Yes. Be sure to sand any loose rust off the surface first

Q: Will it work for a half dollar size hole in the exhaust system

1 Answer
  • A: Hello, thank you for your question. It can be used as a temporary or emergency fix for a half-dollar sized hole, but it may not provide a durable, long-term repair. Large holes in high-heat or high-stress areas of the exhaust are better repaired with a welded patch or replacement pipe.

I recently purchased this after my exhaust snapped, I paired it with a tiger clamp kit and it worked wonders. I recently did a review video for my audience in hopes to encourage business for you guys and also help people out in a pinch. *youtube video url won’t upload to this section, please see link below* https://www.youtube.com/shorts/VDtedHAqHpg?si=04Pd7Sthmz8_De3c

Toxic smoke and fumes

Very disappointed in this product. I spent more on the jb weld stuff because I trusted they had a lot more experience. However after following all the instructions and waiting the 20 mins to cure with the car on. I tried to take the car for a short drive. About 5 mins into the drive the cabin started filling with fums followed by black smoke. I had to find a place to pull over because I thought the car was on fire. Just like the previous review stated the tape turned a off-white color with brown some brown spots. Now whenever I drive the car toxic fumes blow into the cabin. I suffer with asthma and this makes my lungs burn. I need to use this car for work and can't drive it anywhere without being gased out. How do remove this product?
