The Imperial 6 in. x 24 in. Black Stove Pipe is used to connect your wood stove to entrance of the chimney. This black stove pipe features a 24 gauge pre-painted black steel construction and has a satin black finish. The male end of this high-quality stove pipe is crimped for easy assembly to round pipe or fittings of the same diameter. The crimped end should be oriented toward the stove to allow for condensation and creosote to flow down inside the pipe. Our single-wall snap-lock black pipe system is an economical way to vent from a wood stove to the entrance of a chimney or where the system breaches a wall or ceiling

- Features a 24 gauge pre-painted black steel construction

- A: Hi, Here is the information we received from the vendor- "Any of our Black 6” or 8” (24ga) Black Pipe can be used with coal stoves. Our pipe will work as single wall pipe, however with certain types of coal, it may deteriorate much faster than with a wood burning application. - A: The top of the flue opening should be at least 10 Ft (3.1 m) away from any roof surface as measured by a horizontal line drawn from the top of the chimney flue opening to where it would touch the roof surface. - A: Any time steel pipe is buried, it will rust out in a short period of time. This pipe is no different. It is not intended for burial. If you are looking for a short term temporary fix for an event, almost anything will do. l would advise using something like a clay tile pipe for this. It would last a long time.5 years agoHelpful?

I made two separate orders for an install of a wood stove. Some stuff at the store, some stuff shipping to the store, some stuff shipping to my house and one item for reasons unbeknownst to me shipped to a Morgan Utah Store. The thing is: None of it is useful without all of it. I learned stuff cancels automatically if you don't pick it up in 48 hours. Their response: We only authorize at purchase and don't charge until it's picked up. My response: That's just stupid. I bought the stuff, go ahead and charge it. Don't jst cancel half my order because "it's company policy". Your customers don't want to hear that, they just want their stuff!

Had to take these into a Tractor Supply store to get them to snap together, but the folks there were very helpful! No smoke through snapped joint, but you do need to use flue cement on the joins from piece to piece or they will pour smoke. Very happy once all that done.

They came dented as well as not out together . I was expecting the items pictured on the online store.. however they come with a split on the middle of each and are a huge pain to put together.. please put a different picture and maybe in the description allow the customer to know that they do not come in a cylinder. They come split.. also they are extremely hard to put together if dented so please do not send damaged material when the customer is paying for shipping especially same day…..

I used four total pieces of this in my most recent install. I only trimmed about 16-18 inches and everything fit together really nicely. These pieces are shipped not fit together, so, with a pair of gloves, you can fold it together really easily. It bends pretty easily and rolls into a nice circular tube.
