While this case is designed for a standard 20lb propane tank, it serves as an exceptional transport system for the Ignik Tap Rack. On its own, the Tap Rack is a solid piece of kit, but it leaves a bit of room to play inside the 20lb case. To solve this, I’ve paired it with a foam sleeve. This simple addition fills that void perfectly, creating a snug, “zero-movement” fit that ensures the equipment stays exactly where I put it, regardless of the terrain. Why It Works: Heavy-Duty Construction: The material is rugged enough to handle the dirt, dust, and occasional rough handling that come with outdoor use. The padding is substantial, offering real-world protection for the hardware inside. Thermal Efficiency: Beyond storage, the insulation improves tank performance in colder temperatures, which is a critical when you’re relying on your gear in the field. This is a simple product but one that is really appreciated. This well built case holds my bottles securely and safely. I grabbed a few of these as they’re great for general storage for my other propane pounders (which are being transitioned to the Ignik green bottles BTW) when I’m not on the road.
